The Death Of Zarqawi

The death of every human being is a tragedy. The death of Mr. al-Zarqawi means the continuation of the violence and revenge that took the life of my son. This will mean an increase in violence and resistance to the occupation of Iraq by the US military. I sincerely wish the Iraqi people and the US soldiers who believe they are protecting us good fortune in weathering the upcoming violence.

Very interesting this statement bearing in mind Zarqawi cut this man's son's head off with a carving knife on video. He does make a point though here. As much as Bush feels justified in killing Zarqawi I am sure that Zarqawi felt equally as justified in killing Berg.(I personally think Zarqawi was a pig.)

Rumsfeld said today that he thought that Z. was the man in the world who had the most innocent blood on his hands. Well I think George W. holds that prize with 100 000 innocent Iraquis killed so far as collateral damage. Viewers on the news today emailed the BBc saying that 'people forget 9/11 too easily... I am sorry but I think that people haven't even begun to lok at WHY these heathen scumball terrorists flew those planes into those magnificent buildings.

Only when that happens will we start to end this ridiculous war on terror which is in fact a diversion as the neo cons steal the worlds assets as they have done since time began.

King Of Thailand's Ascension to the Throne.

An amazing day in Amazing Thailand again. To see so many people wearing yellow shirts signifying the Thai people's love for their King is something that we in the West should not forget.

Such sentiments in the past have kept the Great in Great Britain and the same is so true in Thailand. To have a human being held in almost Godlike reverence at first seems to be so anti democratic and not modern at all. The reality is so far from the truth. Imagine a man who can inspire the hearts of 70million Thai people by his untiring travel to the poor thoroughout the country and his ingenuity in making life for the Thai people better.

The powerful Elite who run this country on a daily basis with their avarice and guns will do nothing to displease the King who can call his people on or off the streets at whim ; a power he has used so cleverly and sparingly throughout his reign.

If the US had such a great man able comment and influence the politicians more so than the Industrialists and the like.... I think the world would be a better place.

Sure the Elite will continue to keep the masses poor and illeducated but this once Boy King who people thought would just be a Pawn of the Elite has turned into what the BBC described this morning as 'the guardian of democracy without whom the Thais can barely imagine'.

A truelly great man and I hope he lives forever for without him many of the things that we cherish about Thailand may pass with him.

Just Back From Phuket

Now on the air asia flight back from Phuket after spending a shortened weekend there with Ralph.Shortened??? Well I got sick as a dog and spent Saturday sleeping and firing out of both orifices after getting poisoned either by sushi or a greek meal that was snaffled on Friday night. Not a pleasant time for Ralph by any means and as the rainy season was doing its worst we decided to cut our trip short and head back to Bangkok.

Bit of an update on my Private Dancer leasing of a whore project. She is now aware that I know of her starring role on Asia street Meat and apparantly this is making her crazy.

In some true twisted goatish way it appear that somehow I am to blame for knowing about her attempt to become known world famous.

According to friends and family the said goat is truelly messed up....I am intrigued about how in anyway she could be upset about what happened but my better judgement tells me to stay away. Its been many months now since my seed has been sprayed so I think that it is time to get my weapon out and go cut me one from the herd.

Its always a difficult rut to break free from when you temporarily break from Goating. Its something to remember when you start to think of them as people with the morality that comes with that. They don't think of you as human so don't make the stupid mistake of imagining that they are anything more than just goats. They may for sure love you.... But Goat love just ain't the real thing.

Oh and before the overweight fat white women start emailing me with abuse (you know who you are FATTY!!) .....please remember that I do have the real love thing in my life. I just like to be as polygamous as I can.

Is a crime to want the whole cute female population of Asia to love me? Well maybe not love me, but if they are cute at least lie on their backs, open their legs and let me try 'em out!!

Finished the fast and been to Phuket.

Finished the fast after seven days having lost seven kilos. I really didn't feel like doing the full ten days as it just became too much effort for me to be without my life for so long.

Breaking the fast they say is more important than starting and to be sure you must break it gently with vegetables , broth and brown rice. Ralph decided in her wisdom to break it with mutton curry from Rang Mahal (indian restaurant in Rembrandt Hotel sukhumvit soi 18) and paid a dear price.

Your stomach shrinks during the fast and as it has just endured a legnthy period of no fat WHATSOEVER a portion of mutton ring sting curry will not be tolerated.

The fasting is highly recommended for all especially those who like me have a somewhat helter skelter lifestyle. The most important benefit that I feel from it is the newfound awareness I seem to have concerning what I put into my body and when. I cringe at deep fried food preferring smaller and if possible raw food whenever possible. My insatiable desire for wine however has not been diminished in anyway at all.

Day 7 Still Fasting Not Getting Easier Though 0637hrs

Weighed in at 90kg

Lowest weight that I have been since I was sick in 2000. Finding the tedium of not eating tortuous although the mornings and early afternoon are tolerable. This is quite strange as my main food consumption is done at breakfast and lunch.

Went out Saturday night but drinking water and lacking energy made me feel out of place. Still no problem exercising at all but I just miss the social experience and the preparation of my food.

For the last few days I have spent much time scowering the internet for recipes and food shopping for things that I will consume at the end of this seemingly never ending road.

Day 5 Of Fasting 0530hrs

Slept as well as ever and as always woke up too damn early. Feeling strong and clear headed but I think I want to beak my fast today. I know I should do ten days but I want to be able to eat and function properly.

The not eating is not too big a deal except that I just don't enjoy not having the ritual of eating. I am scowering the internet trying to find information to justify the breaking of my fast.

Struggled like hell all day. Not with hunger pains but in Thailand everyone is eating all of the time and I was a bit slack with pouring the juices down so got freaked out after watching a movie with Ralph in Siam Paragon. I was tempted to break the fast but guzzled some more juices and went for a ride down to Sukhumvit, looked at some goats then went and bought more fruit.

Its the lack of downtime that I find hard. If you aren't eating or training in Thailand then you are drinking and shagging or plotting the shag at any rate so I am at a loss when I finish work.

I think I am gonna break the fast in the morning after the gym. I want to eat and focus on work and also its the wekend so I would like to get laid too.

Oh ya and its Homer's birthday tomorrow so I gotta show some faith!!

Weighed on this morning at 93kg

Sleeping really well. I look a bit rough as the toxins come out of my body and I sometimes seem to be getting an irregular heartbeat but nothing too bad.

Exercise was fine this morning as always. Lots of energy to buzz around. I am feeling almost serene but when I exercise I feel like I have taken an extacy pill (well how I imagine such a terrible drug would feel).

Yes I would love a meal but then I wouldn't love one as much as I want to live longer.

This regime makes you think a lot (as you can't eat nor drink much there isn't much else to do) and to be frank I think its far more of a mental and spirtual challenge than a physical one.

Ya ya I suppose you real fatties would find missing the food a bad thing but for us clinically obese (I have been described as such by a doctor) its not that big a deal.

I have had no comments or moral support since I started this so I suppose that all my readers have nobbed off now I have stopped the hooker stories.

Weighed in at 94kg. Down two kg which I think is a bit drastic!!

Slept like a baby although woke up a few times in the night with a full bladder which is only to be expected after all the water that I drank.

Went out to the bar last night just to test my willpower. It was as strong as I thought it would be.

One thing I have noticed is that I am becoming more sensitive to everything. All my senses are starting to prickle at any stimulus. Feel full of energy but for someone who loves his food like I do, finding something to do at foodtime is a bit tough. It's not that I am craving food rather I enjoy the activity of preparing food for myself or indeed Ralph. Ralph just started today on the fast... lets see how she does on it.

The Lemonade Diet
-- The Master Cleanser --

Purpose

*

To dissolve and eliminate toxins and congestion that have formed in any part of the body.
*

To cleanse the kidneys and the digestive system.
*

To purify the glands and cells throughout the entire body.
*

To eliminate all unusable waste and hardened material in the joints and muscles.
*

To relieve pressure and irritation in the nerves, arteries, and blood vessels.
*

To build a healthy blood stream.
*

To keep youth and elasticity regardless of our years.

When to Use It

*

When sickness has developed - for all acute and chronic conditions
*

When the digestive system needs a rest and a cleansing.
*

When overweight has become a problem.
*

When better assimilation and building of body tissue is needed.

How Long and Often?

Follow the diet for a minimum of 10 days or more - up to 40 days and beyond may be safely followed for

extremely serious cases. The diet has all the nutrition needed during this time. Three to four times a year will

do wonders for keeping the body in a normal healthy condition. The diet may be undertaken more frequently

for serious conditions.

How to Make Lemonade

*

2 Tbsp lemon or lime juice (approx. 1/2 lemon)
*

2 Tbsp genuine maple syrup (not maple flavored sugar syrup)
*

1/10 Tsp cayenne pepper (red pepper) or to taste
*

Water, medium hot (spring or purified water)

Combine the juice, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper in a 10 oz. glass and fill with medium hot water.

(Cold water may be used if preferred.) Use fresh lemons or limes only, never canned lemon or lime juice

nor frozen lemonade or frozen juice. Use organic lemons when possible.

An ideal formula involves freshly extracted juice from the sugar cane (readily available in India,

but not generally in the United States at the present time):

*

10 oz. fresh sugar cane juice (medium hot or cold) 2 tbsp. fresh lime or lemon juice
*

1/10 tsp cayenne (red pepper) or to taste
*

Another possible but lesser replacement could be pure sorghum. (Do not use for Diabetes). It does not produce equal or close to the benefits of maple syrup.

Blend a part of the lemon skin and pulp with the lemonade in a blender for further cleansing and laxative effect. (Note: commercially procured lemons may have had their skins dyed with yellow coloring and may have been subjected to poisonous insect sprays - be sure to peel off the outer skin if you cannot get uncolored, organically grown lemons.) The properties in the lemon skin also act as a hemostatic to prevent excess bleeding and to

prevent clotting internally should there be any such prevailing condition. (Don't worry - normal conditions will continue during the menstrual periods.)

Adding the cayenne pepper is necessary as it breaks up mucus and increases warmth by building the blood for

an additional lift. It also adds many of the B and C vitamins.

Mint tea may be used occasionally during this diet as a pleasant change and to assist further in the cleansing.

Its chlorophyll helps as a purifier, neutralizing many mouth and body odors that are released during the

cleansing period.

Special Instructions for the Diabetic:

DIABETES is the result of a deficiency diet consisting in part of white sugar and white flour. The lemonade with molasses is an ideal way to correct this deficiency. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY FOR BEST RESULTS. The molasses supplies the necessary elements for the pancreas to produce insulin. As the necessary elements are supplied to the pancreas, the amount of insulin taken may also be gradually reduced -- as an example.

ON THE FIRST DAY use a scant tablespoon of molasses to each glass of lemonade and reduce insulin by about 10 units. Daily from then on reduce the insulin as you increase the molasses to 2 full tablespoons per glass.

When this proportion has been reached, the insulin can normally be eliminated; then replace the molasses with

2 tablespoons of maple syrup in each glass. Make regular checks of the sugar level in the urine and blood to

satisfy yourself and eliminate any possible fear. Vita Flex and color therapy may be used to advantage to

stimulate the liver, pancreas, and spleen and thus insure proper use of the minerals supplied. Many people have found they no longer have need for insulin. They must be sure to follow every detail of the recommended diet as

explained in the following pages.

How Much Does One Drink?

Take from six to twelve glasses of the lemonade daily during the waking period. As you get hungry just have

another glass of lemonade. NO OTHER FOOD SHOULD BE TAKEN DURING THE FULL PERIOD OF

THE DIET. As this is a complete balance of minerals and vitamins, one does not suffer the pangs of hunger. Do not use vitamin pills.

All solid food is turned into a liquid state before it can be carried by the blood to the cells of the body.

The lemonade is already a food in liquid form.

For those who are overweight, less maple syrup may be taken. For those underweight, more maple syrup may be taken. For those who are underweight and worried about losing more weight, REMEMBER, the only things you

can possibly lose are mucus, waste, and disease. Healthy tissue will not be eliminated. Many people who need to gain weight actually do so near the end of the diet period.

Never vary the amount of lemon juice per glass. About six glasses of lemonade a day is enough for those wishing

to reduce. Extra water may be taken as desired.

Helping the Cleansing Along

As this is a cleansing diet, the more you can assist Nature to eliminate poisons, the better. If your system feels upset, it is because you are not having sufficient elimination. Avoid this possibility by following the directions completely. Above all, be sure you have two, three, or more movements a day. This may seem unnecessary not eating solid food, but it is Nature's way of eliminating the waste it has loosened from the various cells and organs in the body. They must leave the body some way. It would be just the same as sweeping the floor around and around and never removing the dirt from the house if the wastes were not passed out. The better the elimination, the more rapid will be the results '

A LAXATIVE HERB TEA is found to be the best helper for most persons. It is a good practice to take a good laxative herb tea right from the beginning - the last thing at night and first thing in the morning. There are several good laxative teas. They are best taken in a liquid form. Buy them in your health food store.

Another Cleansing Aid: Internal Salt Water Bathing

As it is necessary to bathe the outside of our bodies, so it is with the inside. Do not take enemas or colonics

at any time during the cleansing diet or afterwards. They are unnecessary and can be extremely harmful.

There is a much superior method of cleansing the colonic tract with- out the harmful effects of customary

colonics and enemas. This method will cleanse the entire digestive tract while the colonics and enemas will only

reach the colon or a small part of it. Colonics can be expensive while our salt-water method is not.

DIRECTIONS: Prepare a full quart of lukewarm water and add two level (rounded for the Canadian quart) teaspoons of uniodized sea salt. Do not use ordinary iodized salt as it will not work property.

Drink the entire quart of salt and water first thing in the morning. This must be taken on an empty stomach.

The salt and water will not separate but will stay intact and quickly and thoroughly wash the entire tract in about

one hour. Several eliminations will likely occur. The salt water has the same specific gravity as the blood,

hence the kidneys cannot pick up the water and the blood cannot pick up the salt.

This may be taken as often as needed for proper washing of the entire digestive system.

If the salt water does not work the first time, try adding a little more or a little less salt until the proper balance

is found; or possibly take extra water with or without salt. This often increases the activity.

Remember, it can do no harm at any time. The colon needs a good washing, but do it the natural way -

the salt water way. It is quite advisable to take the herb laxative tea at night to loosen, then the salt water

each morning to wash it out. If for some reason the salt water cannot be taken in the morning,

then the herb laxative tea must be taken night and morning.

How to Break the Lemonade Diet

Coming off the lemonade diet properly is highly important - please follow the directions very carefully.

After living in a semi-tropical and tropical climate for many years, I find that people have increasingly turned to

a raw fruit, nut, and vegetable diet. Following is the schedule for people who normally follow such a natural vegetarian diet:

FIRST and SECOND DAY AFTER DIET:

Several 8 oz. glasses of fresh orange juice as desired during the day. The orange juice prepares the digestive system to properly digest and assimilate regular food. Drink it slowly. If there has been any digestive difficulty prior to or during the change over, extra water may be taken with the orange juice.

THIRD DAY:

Orange juice in the morning. Raw fruit for lunch. Fruit or raw vegetable salad at night.

You are now ready to eat normally.

For those who have characteristically lived the unnatural way of meat, milk, refined and devitalized food,

it may be best to change over as follows, gradually adopting the raw fruit, nut, and vegetable diet:

FIRST DAY:

Several 8 oz. glasses of fresh orange juice as desired during the day. Drink it slowly.

SECOND DAY:

Drink several 8,oz. glasses of orange juice during the day - with extra water, if needed. Some time during the afternoon prepare a vegetable soup (no canned soup) as follows:

Recipe for Vegetable Soup

Use several kinds of vegetables, perhaps one or two kinds of legumes, potatoes, celery, carrots,

green vegetable tops, onion, etc. Dehydrated vegetables or vegetable soup powders may be added for

extra flavor. Okra or okra powder, chili, curry, cayenne (red) pepper, tomatoes, green peppers, and zucchini

squash may be included to good advantage. Brown rice may be used, but no meat or meat stock.

Other spices may be added (delicately) for flavor. Use salt delicately as a limited amount of salt is necessary.

Learn to enjoy the natural flavor of the vegetables. The less cooking the better. Read the special article on

salt in the September 1977 issue of National Geographic magazine.

Have this soup for the evening meal using the broth mostly, although some of the vegetables may be eaten.

Rye wafers may be eaten sparingly with the soup, but no bread or crackers.

THIRD DAY: Drink orange juice in the morning. At noon have some more soup; enough may be made the

night before and put in the refrigerator. For the evening meal eat whatever is desired in the form of vegetables, salads, or fruit. No meat, fish, or eggs; no bread, pastries, tea, coffee, or milk. Milk is highly mucus forming

and tends to develop toxins throughout the body.

(Milk, being a predigested food, has been known to cause various complications in the stomach and colon,

such as cramps and convulsions. The calcium in milk is difficult to assimilate and may cause toxins in the form

of rheumatic fever, arthritis, neuritis, and bursitis. The resulting lack of proper digestion and assimilation of the calcium allows it to go into the blood stream in a free form and it is deposited in the tissues, cells, and joints

where it can cause intense pain and suffering.)

FOURTH DAY:

Normal eating may be resumed, but best health will be retained if the morning meal consists of our type of

lemonade or fruit juice; and, of course, if a strictly fruit, vegetable, seed and berry diet is followed.

If, after eating is resumed, distress or gas occurs, it is suggested that the lemonade diet be continued for

several more days until the system is ready for food.

Be careful to read the entire instructions so that the diet will

be of the best benefit to you.

First prepare yourself mentally to follow in detail the entire directions and continue as long as is needed to make

the necessary changes. One of the best signals of the completed diet is when the formerly coated and fuzzy

tongue is clear pink and clean looking. During the diet it becomes very badly coated.

The Night Before starting the diet take the laxative tea.

In the morning take the salt water (or) laxative tea. This should be done each night and morning during the diet - rare exception - if diarrhea develops. When diarrhea is ended then continue above directions.

Now the lemonade formula (see How to Make Lemonade. For diabetic people, see Special Instruction).

Breaking the diet. Be absolutely sure you follow the directions very carefully to prepare your body for normal eating (our way). Do not over eat or eat too soon. Serious problems (nausea) can occur if detailed directions are not followed.

About Lemon

The lemon is a loosening and cleansing agent with many important building factors. The ability of the elements in the lemon and the maple syrup working together creates these desired results.

Its oxygen builds vitality.

Grade B is the second run with more minerals plus more maple taste. It is more suitable for the diet and is less expensive. Grade C is the third run with even more minerals and still stronger taste of maple and slightly less pleasant for most people, although acceptable in the diet. It is lower in price. As Grade C is less expensive it can be used as an excellent sweetening agent in preparing foods. The strong maple flavor blends very well.

The maple syrup has a large variety of minerals and vitamins. Naturally, the mineral and vitamin content will vary according to the area where the trees grow and the mineral content in the soil. These are the minerals found in average samples of syrup from Vermont: Sodium; Potassium; Calcium; Magnesium; Manganese; Iron; Copper; Phosphorus; Sulphur; Chlorine and Silicon. Vitamin A, Bl, B2, B6, C, Nicotinic acid and Pantothenic acid are also present in the syrup. Information on the need and effect of these properties will be found in the Biochemistry in the back of the book, "Healing for the Age of Enlightenment."

Some uninformed operators of the sugaring of the maple syrup do use formaldehyde pellets, run through polyethylene tubing but there are many more that don't. Search out and demand the kind not using formaldehyde. The Maple River Company in Youngstown, New York does not use it. This is the kind I recommend.

Dozens of letters weekly, from around the world highly praise the many superior benefits of the lemonade diet. Thus, we must conclude that since it does so much for so many it is truly The Master Cleanser. The following is a quote from one of the letters: "I tried the lemonade diet with exceptionally beneficial results. I would like to order at least six at whatever your wholesale price would be - I know I will need many more as I do push the books. I believe they are the best in their field."

What About the Use of Honey?

Honey must not be used at any time internally. It is manufactured from the nectar picked up from the flowers by the bees - good enough in itself, perhaps - then predigested, vomited and stored for their own future use with a preservative added. It is deficient in calcium and has many detrimental effects for the human being.

According to one authority, honey is "a magical and mystical word in Healthfoodland. It is one of the most over promoted, overpriced product being sold to gullible health foodists. The great value attributed to honey is delusive ... honey is only a little less empty and more dangerous than sugar."

Just as with alcohol, honey, being predigested, enters the blood directly, raising the sugar content very rapidly above normal. To correct this, the pancreas must produce insulin immediately or possible death can occur. More insulin than necessary is likely to be produced, and the blood sugar level then drops below normal. This can produce blackout spells and even death if it goes too low. When blood sugar is below normal, a person will feel depressed. The regular use of honey can create constant imbalances, which in turn will adversely affect the normal function of the liver, pancreas and spleen. Hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia are the results of the use of unbalanced sugars. The balanced sugar in maple syrup and sugar cane juice causes no dangerous side effects. All natural fruits and vegetables have balanced sugars in them. Artificial, synthetic, and refined sugars have no place in a natural diet.

Should I Take "Supplements"?

Some people want to take vitamin pills or food supplements while on the diet. This frequently fails to produce the desired result. There are many reasons. As the lymphatic glands become clogged, they are no longer able to assimilate and digest even the best of foods. As we cleanse our bodies and free our cells and glands of toxins that clog and paralyze our assimilation, we free our various organs and processes to do their proper jobs. Note Page 20. All the necessary vitamins and minerals are in the lemonade, and therefore we do not need an additional supply in most cases.

Vitamin pills and supplements do not grow on trees as such but rather come to us in fruits, berries, vegetables and plants. Man will never take a group of natural or synthetic foods; process and combine them in a variety of products, and come up with anything equal or better than the original. They have lost much of their basic life and energy by combining them according to a man made concept. Many dangerous side effects can occur because of improper and unequal balances present. Stay with the natural laws of balance. First one must decided if God is right or if man is right. If God is right then man and his ideas of processing -tearing apart and rearranging - are likely to be wrong.

Later, as we consume a more complete variety of foods, we find our sources of vitamins and minerals complete and in forms that are easily assimilated - it should not be necessary to return to these supplements even if one is accustomed to taking them. The sources of good food are steadily being enlarged as people become more educated concerning them. Search these sources and rely on them for your total nutritional needs.

What About the Use of Vitamins

Vitamins and minerals have always been a necessary part of natural living. Not satisfied with God's plan, man has attempted to improve the situation by separating them from fresh live foods, then processing and combining them to conform to his concept of what they should be. Not satisfied with the finished product, attempts were made to produce them synthetically. It was big business - and we became a world of "pill pushers," whether they were needed or not. More often they were not needed. No one really knew if the pills were needed, or how many - people just took them because they might have a deficiency!

Just how these vitamins and minerals should be balanced and formulated led to many differences of opinion. A large variety of experts, in processing and manufacturing of pills, disagree as to how the many billions of pills should be made. They all have different formulas and claim theirs are the best even though much is lost in the processing. However, even without any clear consensus as to their worth and use,

they were manufactured and processed; therefore they must be sold with no thought as to possible side effects from overdosing or imbalances. Millions of dollars are made by the producers and the sellers with little regard for the true needs of the consumer.

In reality, the whole process could have been completely avoided. Our Creator has already done a better job of making sure we receive all the needed vitamins and minerals in a perfectly balanced form. Only the finest of natural foods in their original package are good enough for bringing complete energy and life to build and retain a healthy body. Any time man attempts to improve on God's formulas and plans, the result is bound to be a failure.

The simple rules to complete nutrition include all the vitamins and minerals needed by all mankind and all animals. Our Creator has given the right food for the right animal for complete nutrition. This is also true for man. When these foods are properly prepared and eaten, there is nothing more that man can do to prepare a better food.

As we eat the correct foods without excesses, the body will produce ALL the needed vitamins. Foods grown properly, in complete, mineral- rich soil, will have all the minerals in them. Thus, we have no need for vitamin-enriched foods, created synthetically by man, nor for extra minerals.

All refined and devitalized foods must be completely eliminated from our diet. If refined and devitalized foods are eaten, then and only then does man have any need for additional supplements. Just how much and what combination, even with long and complicated tests, will probably never be determined, so this form of unnatural nutrition will always be lacking. Such a plan is a very poor substitute for the right way.

How Do I Get My Protein?

Often the question is asked about the need for amino acids, and animal protein foods. The need is highly exaggerated as only 16% of our body is protein. The answer to the question is very simple. We first need to understand that pure protein is primarily nitrogen, with oxygen, hydrogen and some carbon. We all know we get a large share of our oxygen and hydrogen needs from the air along with some carbon. There is four times the amount of nitrogen in the same air as there is oxygen, hydrogen and carbon combined. Since we are able to utilize and assimilate a large amount of our needs of these elements into our bodies we are able to assimilate and build the nitrogen also into our bodies as protein. This is done by natural bacteria action which is capable of converting it to our use.

From the combination of the best of foods and clean air we are able to create our own amino acids, just as well as the animals do. We never try to feed amino acids to the animals. Thus we are able to eliminate the need for toxic dead animal flesh and have no further need to worry about our constant source of protein. Eat only the best variety of fruits, berries, nuts, vegetables, seeds and sprouted seeds for a further complete source of protein.

People who smoke cannot pick up the nitrogen from the air so easily, but will still get enough from proper food without the use of animal flesh. For your well being, however, elimination of smoking is a must.

Many people believe that eating meat gives them strength. If this is so, then why are the strongest animals in the world vegetarians? Did you ever stop to think that the animals you do eat are vegetarian? Where did they get their strength? All the meat-eating animals find it necessary to sleep 16 to 18 hours daily because of excess toxins. The meat eating animals live a very short life. God has supplied such a bountiful supply of fresh, wholesome food that there is never a need to kill an animal for its more toxic flesh in our modern civilization.

Chomsky: 'There Is No War on Terror'

For over 40 years, MIT professor Noam Chomsky has been one of the world's leading intellectual critics of U.S. foreign policy. Today, with America's latest imperial adventure in trouble both politically and militarily, Chomsky - who turned 77 last month - vows not to slow down "as long as I'm ambulatory." I spoke with him by phone, on Dec. 9 and again on Dec. 20, from his office in Cambridge.

Geov Parrish: Is George Bush in political trouble? And if so, why?

Noam Chomsky: George Bush would be in severe political trouble if there were an opposition political party in the country. Just about every day, they're shooting themselves in the foot. The striking fact about contemporary American politics is that the Democrats are making almost no gain from this. The only gain that they're getting is that the Republicans are losing support. Now, again, an opposition party would be making hay, but the Democrats are so close in policy to the Republicans that they can't do anything about it. When they try to say something about Iraq, George Bush turns back to them, or Karl Rove turns back to them, and says, "How can you criticize it? You all voted for it." And, yeah, they're basically correct.

How could the Democrats distinguish themselves at this point, given that they've already played into that trap?

Democrats read the polls way more than I do, their leadership. They know what public opinion is. They could take a stand that's supported by public opinion instead of opposed to it. Then they could become an opposition party, and a majority party. But then they're going to have to change their position on just about everything.

Take, for example, take your pick, say for example health care. Probably the major domestic problem for people. A large majority of the population is in favor of a national health care system of some kind. And that's been true for a long time. But whenever that comes up - it's occasionally mentioned in the press - it's called politically impossible, or "lacking political support," which is a way of saying that the insurance industry doesn't want it, the pharmaceutical corporations don't want it, and so on. Okay, so a large majority of the population wants it, but who cares about them? Well, Democrats are the same. Clinton came up with some cockamamie scheme which was so complicated you couldn't figure it out, and it collapsed.

Kerry in the last election, the last debate in the election, October 28 I think it was, the debate was supposed to be on domestic issues. And the New York Times had a good report of it the next day. They pointed out, correctly, that Kerry never brought up any possible government involvement in the health system because it "lacks political support." It's their way of saying, and Kerry's way of understanding, that political support means support from the wealthy and the powerful. Well, that doesn't have to be what the Democrats are. You can imagine an opposition party that's based on popular interests and concerns.

Given the lack of substantive differences in the foreign policies of the two parties -

Or domestic.

Yeah, or domestic. But I'm setting this up for a foreign policy question. Are we being set up for a permanent state of war?

I don't think so. Nobody really wants war. What you want is victory. Take, say, Central America. In the 1980s, Central America was out of control. The U.S. had to fight a vicious terrorist war in Nicaragua, had to support murderous terrorist states in El Salvador and Guatemala, and Honduras, but that was a state of war. All right, the terrorists succeeded. Now, it's more or less peaceful. So you don't even read about Central America any more because it's peaceful. I mean, suffering and miserable, and so on, but peaceful. So it's not a state of war. And the same elsewhere. If you can keep people under control, it's not a state of war.

Take, say, Russia and Eastern Europe. Russia ran Eastern Europe for half a century, almost, with very little military intervention. Occasionally they'd have to invade East Berlin, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, but most of the time it was peaceful. And they thought everything was fine - run by local security forces, local political figures, no big problem. That's not a permanent state of war.

In the War on Terror, however, how does one define victory against a tactic? You can't ever get there.

There are metrics. For example, you can measure the number of terrorist attacks. Well, that's gone up sharply under the Bush administration, very sharply after the Iraq war. As expected - it was anticipated by intelligence agencies that the Iraq war would increase the likelihood of terror. And the post-invasion estimates by the CIA, National Intelligence Council, and other intelligence agencies are exactly that. Yes, it increased terror. In fact, it even created something which never existed - new training ground for terrorists, much more sophisticated than Afghanistan, where they were training professional terrorists to go out to their own countries. So, yeah, that's a way to deal with the War on Terror, namely, increase terror. And the obvious metric, the number of terrorist attacks, yeah, they've succeeded in increasing terror.

The fact of the matter is that there is no War on Terror. It's a minor consideration. So invading Iraq and taking control of the world's energy resources was way more important than the threat of terror. And the same with other things. Take, say, nuclear terror. The American intelligence systems estimate that the likelihood of a "dirty bomb," a dirty nuclear bomb attack in the United States in the next ten years, is about 50 percent. Well, that's pretty high. Are they doing anything about it? Yeah. They're increasing the threat, by increasing nuclear proliferation, by compelling potential adversaries to take very dangerous measures to try to counter rising American threats.

This is even sometimes discussed. You can find it in the strategic analysis literature. Take, say, the invasion of Iraq again. We're told that they didn't find weapons of mass destruction. Well, that's not exactly correct. They did find weapons of mass destruction, namely, the ones that had been sent to Saddam by the United States, Britain, and others through the 1980s. A lot of them were still there. They were under control of U.N. inspectors and were being dismantled. But many were still there. When the U.S. invaded, the inspectors were kicked out, and Rumsfeld and Cheney didn't tell their troops to guard the sites. So the sites were left unguarded, and they were systematically looted. The U.N. inspectors did continue their work by satellite and they identified over 100 sites that were systematically looted, like, not somebody going in and stealing something, but carefully, systematically looted.

By people who knew what they were doing.

Yeah, people who knew what they were doing. It meant that they were taking the high-precision equipment that you can use for nuclear weapons and missiles, dangerous biotoxins, all sorts of stuff. Nobody knows where it went, but, you know, you hate to think about it. Well, that's increasing the threat of terror, substantially. Russia has sharply increased its offensive military capacity in reaction to Bush's programs, which is dangerous enough, but also to try to counter overwhelming U.S. dominance in offensive capacity. They are compelled to ship nuclear missiles all over their vast territory. And mostly unguarded. And the CIA is perfectly well aware that Chechen rebels have been casing Russian railway installations, probably with a plan to try to steal nuclear missiles. Well, yeah, that could be an apocalypse. But they're increasing that threat. Because they don't care that much.

Same with global warming. They're not stupid. They know that they're increasing the threat of a serious catastrophe. But that's a generation or two away. Who cares? There's basically two principles that define the Bush administration policies: stuff the pockets of your rich friends with dollars, and increase your control over the world. Almost everything follows from that. If you happen to blow up the world, well, you know, it's somebody else's business. Stuff happens, as Rumsfeld said.

You've been tracking US wars of foreign aggression since Vietnam, and now we're in Iraq. Do you think there's any chance in the aftermath, given the fiasco that it's been, that there will be any fundamental changes in US foreign policy? And if so, how would it come about?

Well, there are significant changes. Compare, for example, the war in Iraq with 40 years ago, the war in Vietnam. There's quite significant change. Opposition to the war in Iraq is far greater than the much worse war in Vietnam. Iraq is the first war I think in the history of European imperialism, including the U.S., where there was massive protest before the war was officially launched. In Vietnam it took four or five years before there was any visible protest. Protest was so slight that nobody even remembers or knows that Kennedy attacked South Vietnam in 1962. It was a serious attack. It was years later before protest finally developed.

What do you think should be done in Iraq?

Well, the first thing that should be done in Iraq is for us to be serious about what's going on. There is almost no serious discussion, I'm sorry to say, across the spectrum, of the question of withdrawal. The reason for that is that we are under a rigid doctrine in the West, a religious fanaticism, that says we must believe that the United States would have invaded Iraq even if its main product was lettuce and pickles, and the oil resources of the world were in Central Africa. Anyone who doesn't believe that is condemned as a conspiracy theorist, a Marxist, a madman, or something. Well, you know, if you have three gray cells functioning, you know that that's perfect nonsense. The U.S. invaded Iraq because it has enormous oil resources, mostly untapped, and it's right in the heart of the world's energy system. Which means that if the U.S. manages to control Iraq, it extends enormously its strategic power, what Zbigniew Brzezinski calls its critical leverage over Europe and Asia. Yeah, that's a major reason for controlling the oil resources - it gives you strategic power. Even if you're on renewable energy you want to do that. So that's the reason for invading Iraq, the fundamental reason.

Now let's talk about withdrawal. Take any day's newspapers or journals and so on. They start by saying the United States aims to bring about a sovereign democratic independent Iraq. I mean, is that even a remote possibility? Just consider what the policies would be likely to be of an independent sovereign Iraq. If it's more or less democratic, it'll have a Shiite majority. They will naturally want to improve their linkages with Iran, Shiite Iran. Most of the clerics come from Iran. The Badr Brigade, which basically runs the South, is trained in Iran. They have close and sensible economic relationships which are going to increase. So you get an Iraqi/Iran loose alliance. Furthermore, right across the border in Saudi Arabia, there's a Shiite population which has been bitterly oppressed by the U.S.-backed fundamentalist tyranny. And any moves toward independence in Iraq are surely going to stimulate them, it's already happening. That happens to be where most of Saudi Arabian oil is. Okay, so you can just imagine the ultimate nightmare in Washington: a loose Shiite alliance controlling most of the world's oil, independent of Washington and probably turning toward the East, where China and others are eager to make relationships with them, and are already doing it. Is that even conceivable? The U.S. would go to nuclear war before allowing that, as things now stand.

Now, any discussion of withdrawal from Iraq has to at least enter the real world, meaning, at least consider these issues. Just take a look at the commentary in the United States, across the spectrum. How much discussion do you see of these issues? Well, you know, approximately zero, which means that the discussion is just on Mars. And there's a reason for it. We're not allowed to concede that our leaders have rational imperial interests. We have to assume that they're good-hearted and bumbling. But they're not. They're perfectly sensible. They can understand what anybody else can understand. So the first step in talk about withdrawal is: consider the actual situation, not some dream situation, where Bush is pursuing a vision of democracy or something. If we can enter the real world we can begin to talk about it. And yes, I think there should be withdrawal, but we have to talk about it in the real world and know what the White House is thinking. They're not willing to live in a dream world.

How will the US deal with China as a superpower?

What's the problem with China?

Well, competing for resources, for example.

Well, if you believe in markets, the way we're supposed to, compete for resources through the market. So what's the problem? The problem is that the United States doesn't like the way it's coming out. Well, too bad. Who has ever liked the way it's coming out when you're not winning? China isn't any kind of threat. We can make it a threat. If you increase the military threats against China, then they will respond. And they're already doing it. They'll respond by building up their military forces, their offensive military capacity, and that's a threat. So, yeah, we can force them to become a threat.

What's your biggest regret over 40 years of political activism? What would you have done differently?

I would have done more. Because the problems are so serious and overwhelming that it's disgraceful not to do more about it.

What gives you hope?

What gives me hope actually is public opinion. Public opinion in the United States is very well studied, we know a lot about it. It's rarely reported, but we know about it. And it turns out that, you know, I'm pretty much in the mainstream of public opinion on most issues. I'm not on some, not on gun control or creationism or something like that, but on most crucial issues, the ones we've been talking about, I find myself pretty much at the critical end, but within the spectrum of public opinion. I think that's a very hopeful sign. I think the United States ought to be an organizer's paradise.

What sort of organizing should be done to try and change some of these policies?

Well, there's a basis for democratic change. Take what happened in Bolivia a couple of days ago. How did a leftist indigenous leader get elected? Was it showing up at the polls once every four years and saying, "Vote for me!"? No. It's because there are mass popular organizations which are working all the time on everything from blocking privatization of water to resources to local issues and so on, and they're actually participatory organizations. Well, that's democracy. We're a long way from it. And that's one task of organizing.

4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit!!!! No one from a terrorist nation will be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself and don't hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.

5) No foreign "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don't attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home baby.

6) The US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise. This will include developing nonpolluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a while.

7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don't like it, we go someplace else. They can go somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not "interfere." They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides most of what we give them is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very little, if anything.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island someplace. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer. The Language we speak is ENGLISH...learn it...or LEAVE...Now, isn't that a winner of a plan?

Ladies Night at Coyote Convent

It is a known fact that Ralph, Homer and Da Wizard like to party. In fact it has been said that the three Muskooters party with a capital F.

However this Wednesday just passed was Ladie Night in Coyote on Soi Convent , so the intrepid Goat stalkers thought they would chance their arm at the said watering hole which does indeed have fine fodder. With 76 Margaritas on the menu its not a bad place for a quafficle or twenty. White skinter English Teacher Goats make up the mainstay but the Thai contingent is growing... Well worth a visit thats for sure.

Unfortunately things got out of hand, after god knows how many bottles of Tequila (thank you Moses) half a dozen jugs of Sangriah and half a gallon of Beer each we all went home and slept.............

Well at least Ralph and Da Wizard did..... and slept well they did too until they were disturbed (mid Rut) by Homer. His morning greeting was "Are we still friends????"

"Err I think so " replied D.W. whilst checking his knuckles for injury....why?

"F### I think I have been attacked"... cries Homer and the phone goes dead. Ralph and Da Wizard arm themselves with kitchen implements and rush to save their buddy.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Reuters) - Texas has begun sending undercover agents into bars to arrest drinkers for being drunk, a spokeswoman for the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission said on Wednesday.

The first sting operation was conducted recently in a Dallas suburb where agents infiltrated 36 bars and arrested 30 people for public intoxication, said the commission's Carolyn Beck.

Being in a bar does not exempt one from the state laws against public drunkeness, Beck said.

The goal, she said, was to detain drunks before they leave a bar and go do something dangerous like drive a car.

"We feel that the only way we're going to get at the drunk driving problem and the problem of people hurting each other while drunk is by crackdowns like this," she said.

"There are a lot of dangerous and stupid things people do when they're intoxicated, other than get behind the wheel of a car," Beck said. "People walk out into traffic and get run over, people jump off of balconies trying to reach a swimming pool and miss."

She said the sting operations would continue throughout the state.

Well its been a very busy few weeks that's for sure. The end game hasn't been blogged as yet because very wisely (as you will come to realise) Da Wizard decided to wait until a safe amount of time had passed just in case things went wrong and nasty.

Well they have gone all wrong... very wrong but I have retained my sanity, although their have been momentary lapses when I have chosen anathstesia and The Famous Grouse to be my mode of escape from my stupid, incomrehensible , weak and pathetic pain. Da Wizard was a wanker!

Thanks to Song who warned me about the risks of spells and black magic. Don't believe in that stuff but it does seem to exist and be a reality for many. You make your own minds up after you have read what happened as Da Wizard is quite frankly bemused by the whole thing. If I had made the time to go and do the whole 'anti spell' thing as I was told then perhaps a lot of people would have been saved a lot of trouble. Thankfully Ralph has stuck by me but I can't say sorry enough to her for all she has endured.

The Viper has two friends Nid and Moh, whom Da Wizard assumed were an item as often happens with female sex workers. Both of these goats are heavy crystal meth and Ya Baa users (means crazy medicine and is a methamphetemine that is rampant in Thailand) and Da Wizard don't like those drugs.

On one occasion Da Wizard promptly slapped the Viper in the chops when he found her high on this junk. Oh ya sorry Oprah! Violence against women sometimes is ok. Da Wizard will not give up da right to give someone a smack when they are being a complete idiot, just cos they are a woman.

Things were going very well between me and the whore (still feeling bitter are we sir? Suits you sir!), when the Viper Goat decided to go home to see her Momma Goat back in Nakhon Nowhere Isaan. Of course Da Wizard had no issues with this accept that the two Witches of Eastwick were accompanying Viper, but unusually, kept his mouth shut and sent her on her way with a few quid in her pocket. Calls from her in Isaan flowed regularly and nothing seemed ary until one day Da Viper stopped radio contact and disappeared for twenty four hours.

This wasn't cause for alarm and she got back on the bugle to me telling me that she had gone out with her friends and got pie eyed forgetting to charge her phone. I didn't ask if pharmaceuticals were involved as I assumed they wouldn't be, but the jitteryness in her voice twigged my antenna a touch but not more than a touch.

She came back late on the thirteenth and Da Wizard was busy so I didn't see her. Valentines came and I thought she would clearly want to see me as Thais make a big deal of any excuse to party ,but ma Viper claimed she had to take friends back home to fuck knows where and had no time but continued to proclaim her unending love for her now, very suspicious benefactor.

So Da Wizard pressured the whore err sorry Viper into meeting him at MBK for lunch. The tremours in her voice again were signs of what was to come.

Yup! She was high! Eyes like dinner plates, chewing gum, eyeballs scanning everywhere as the paranoia was setting in. Da Wizard was cool, asked her, not accused her about gear and apparently accepted her answer.I left knowing the writing was on the wall after agreeing to her pleas to stay at her room the following night.

Then came the radio silence. Her last sms was just to let me know that she loved me and that was at 2pm.

Da Wizard sought Homer's counsel and put forward the possibility that he may finish the whole thing with the aforementioned crack smoking whore. Da Wizard spoke of not being able to deal with a junkie and again cited the risk of super-tolerant Ralp finding out. Homer as always listens and seems to think that Da Wizard has made the correct decision.

At eight I am waiting for her in her room when she breaks radio silence to let me know she will be back in an hour. She is high and Da Wizard thinks of saving souls.

Upon arrival the Viper sits me down and says 'this is difficult for me but I love Nicki" so I promptly pack my stuff and leave. No feelings of pain or fuck all. I gave the ultimatum and lost. Just a piece of street meat... Nothing more but incredibly something less!!! More to follow soon......

Muslims Still Rioting

Muslims throughout the world are still rioting and destroying Western interests throughout the world because of the cartoons depicting the mythical Mohammed.

I can understand them being pissed off.... but why are they not destroying Malaysian interests or Indonesian interests as these countries too have published the cartoons?

Also now Muslim newspapers are running Holocaust cartoon competitions.... do we see the Jews in London burning Muslim flags??????? No of course we don't.

So why has the Muslim world not burned down Malaysian Embassies???

KUCHING: The Sarawak Tribune has apologised to the Muslim community for the publication of the caricatures of Prophet Muhammad.

The newspaper's publisher and editorial committee said they were "very sorry" for any damage or hurt caused to the Muslim community in the reproduction of the cartoons in its Feb 4 edition.

In an apology published on the daily's front page yesterday, they said the daily agreed with its readers that there was no excuse for the publication, and expressed regret over it.

In Putrajaya, Sarawak Tribune managing director Datuk Idris Buang said that as Lester Melanyi, the editor-on-duty for the edition in which the cartoons appeared, had resigned it was not necessary for the chief editor to go, too.

"Only one person made a mistake so the rest who are innocent should not be punished also," he said when responding to Umno Youth's call for the resignation of the newspaper's chief editor and the suspension of the newspaper.

He said that what was most important was for truth and justice to prevail, adding that the newspaper had more than 300 staff.

He was speaking to reporters here yesterday after presenting a written explanation to Deputy Internal Security Minister Datuk Noh Omar on why action should not be taken against Sarawak Tribune for publishing the caricatures.

In Ipoh, DAP Socialist Youth chief Nga Kor Ming said the publication permit of Sarawak Tribune should not be withdrawn as the editor-on-duty had quit.

In Kuala Lumpur, PAS Youth chief Salahuddin Ayub said after Friday prayers at Masjid Kampung Baru, the party would lead a peaceful march to the Danish embassy to hand over a memorandum protesting against the caricatures.

He distanced himself from the violent protests which had taken place elsewhere saying that it was not the Islamic way.

We see a loss of sane thinking in the popular disposition towards the Islamic religion. Political correctness states that Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance. History and current history state the diametric opposite to be the case. Yet in the aftermath of September 11th, Tony Blair and George Bush Jr, rush before the TV cameras to insist that Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance.

· We are expected to ignore the fact that thousands of Moslems demonstrated in Trafalgar Square against the institution of democracy, demanding that Britain adopt the feudalistic Islamic form of government.

· We are expected to forget that Moslem history supports the contentions of Osama bin Laden and Yasser Arafat, that their's is the true Islam and that Moslems not agreeing with terrorism and murder have apostatized from true Islam.

· We are expected to forget that Islam admits that Mohammed was a paedophile who married a 6 year old girl Aisha, and took her virginity when she was the age of 9. And yet heathens will try explain this away by saying that Aisha had already reached puberty!

· We are expected to forget that 70-80 year old Saudi men were exposed on prime time American TV buying little girls from impoverished families in India, justifying it on the basis of the fact that their prophet Mohammed was a paedophile.

· Islam is still, we are expected to believe, a civilized religion.

· We are expected to ignore the fact that even small Christian girls, abducted in Moslem societies, are forcibly subjected to clitorectomy (female circumcision), often performed on queues of them with the same rusty razor blade under highly septic conditions, in the name of the faith of the Koran.

· We are similarly expected to ignore the fact that 1,000 British girls a year are taken to Islamic countries and forced to become one of the four wives of people they have never met, often, not infrequently, blood relatives as old as 60 years of age.

· Islam, we are told, is a moral religion and such practices, we are expected to believe, have nothing to do with Islam.

Who, other than Moslems, religiously engage in such disgusting abuses of human rights?

If Islam is a civilized faith of justice and virtue,

· where is the justice in the feudalism of nearly the entire Islamic world?

· Where is the justice and virtue in a religion that allows paedophilia in imitation of its founding prophet, polygamy and the oppression of women and even slavery?

If Islam is the faith of tolerance, as Bush, Blair and their Moslem acquaintances insist,

· where does tolerance exist anywhere in the Moslem world? The answer, of course, is that it doesn’t exist!

If Islam is a faith of peace, as the politically correct media continually misrepresents it as being,

· why are there three times as many armed conflicts in the world involving Islam today, as there are in all of the other religious groups in the world put together?

Once more, the White House, 10 Downing St, and CNN expect us to relegate common sense to the status of prejudice, in a new world view designed to facilitate a New World Order (a term first coined by Bush Snr), where reason becomes unreasonable.

In this "new think", we are expected to believe that neither Lockerbie, nor September 11th , nor the assassination of Robert Kennedy, nor the suicide bombing of American embassies, nor the endless stream of Islamic outrages perpetrated against the nation Israel, had anything to do with Islam. Who did such things? Was it the Quakers? Now a Byron California school system is requiring 7th Grade students to take courses in Islam. One thing we may be certain that the syllabus will not contain, however, is the fact that nowhere in the Moslem world would courses on Christianity be allowed, let alone required as mandatory curriculum. Such an absence of reason means that Islam will not have to destroy the West with jihad, the West has become far too adept at destroying itself.

We are expected to believe that,

· as was demonstrated by the involvement of senior Bush administration officials with Enron, and the fact that Bush and Cheney are owned and operated by Texas oil interests, has nothing to do with their unwillingness to stand up to the House of Saud and the Wahabi sect of Islam in Saudi Arabia, which decapitates Christians and finances Islamic extremism globally.

· We are expected to forget that Bush's father was vice-president of an administration that supplied weapons to the Islamic terrorist government of Iran, and then denied it.

· We are expected to forget that, as a former CIA Director, Bush Senior saw American commandos training Gadaffi's terrorists in Libya, and as President, he left Saddam Hussein in power and now the disgraceful Bush legacy of Islamic appeasement is perpetuated by his son, who appeared on TV after September 11th singing the praises of Islam at an Islamic institution in Washington and allowing the US postal service to issue a stamp commemorating Ramadan.

· Islam is a religion, which interprets kindness as weakness and by calling for a Palestinian state in the aftermath of September 11th, the only signal Bush sent to the Moslem world was that "terrorism works, we are winning the jihad, allah is giving us the victory, America is making concessions out of fear."

· We are expected to pretend that none of this has anything to do with the politics of Arab oil and the economics of petrol dollars recycled through the banks of London and New York.

· We are expected to forget that 18 months prior to September 11th, Vladimir Putin warned Tony Blair that the Islamic terrorism he was fighting in Chechnya would soon arrive in the West and that the western position towards Serbia, who was fighting the Islamic Kosovo Liberation Army, backed by Al Qaeda, was unbalanced when Blair and Clinton intervened militarily on the side of the Moslems in defiance of the NATO treaty, which only allows intervention when a NATO country is attacked.

· We are also expected to forget that prior to September 11th, the Israeli Government had repeatedly warned the White House that the Islamic terrorism they live with would soon become a reality in the American mainland, whilst Bush held a Ramadan celebration in the White House and failed to attack Kandahar and Kabul to kill bin Laden and Mohammed Omar before they were able to escape, for fear of offending the oil interests and their House of Saudi partners. No-one enjoys the death of civilians, but the priority of the Western governments must be the lives of their own citizens.

· We are expected to believe that it could have nothing to do with the oil interests who control the Bush White House, that America limited its response to September 11th to Afghanistan instead of launching air strikes against Yemen, Libya, Iraq and the Bekka Valley of Lebanon and allowing the Israelis to bomb Damascus in retaliation for the assassination of an Israeli cabinet member by a Syrian based Islamic terror organization.

Despite all of this and more, Bush still states that Islam is a religion of tolerance, and political correctness says that we are expected to believe this obvious and dangerous lie.

· We are expected to believe it despite the fact that in one poll, 40% of British Moslems expressed support for bin Laden. Instead of protecting British and American citizens, the way that Putin protected Russian citizens from the cancer of militant Islam, Blair and Bush reject the clear need for the mass deportation of Moslems not holding British or American citizenship and the closure of mosques funded by militantly orientated Islamic interests and governments; but would rather leave their own citizens at risk of further terrorism. "Islam", the politicians tell us, "is a religion of tolerance and peace that believes in justice".

In being expected to believe that Islam is a peaceable, tolerant and just religion, we are expected to suspend our powers of reason and to pretend that it is not an irrefutable fact that there is not a single Moslem country in the world that is an authentic democracy and that there is not a single Islamic country in the world where Christians are not persecuted. Our politicians expect us to believe their rhetoric and to accept at face value the propaganda of Moslems living in the West that their religion is not one of hostility towards the West, nor towards the Judeo-Christian faith, despite the fact that while the Saudi Arabians fund the construction of mosques all over Britain, America and elsewhere, these same heathens, who decapitate people for becoming Christians, will not allow the construction of a single church in Saudi Arabia. TOLERANCE??

These are blatant facts the Blair Government and the Bush White House expect us all to ignore.

5. Hygeine. Has to come into the list cos it does come into the mind. They all say that they make customers wear condoms but in reality has anyone with any experience of paid for sex in Asia met a prostitute who ALWAYS insists on the said profolactic? I mean Da Wizard did her bare back the first night (exceedingly intoxicated....) although she did kick off about it in the morning and has now gone on the pill.

The end game is not thought about often enough and like item 6.) , it certainly should be. Sorry people that last disgraceful comment was a relapse into Da Wizard's parenst conservative mentality and one that I hope is not often repeated. 9. Why has she turned her room into a mini shrine of photos of Da Wizard (handsome chappie that he is). Does she really love him? Is she capable of love? WHY DOES IT MATTER? The nicest thing that happens during this period of sustained insanity, (can having feelings for a Thai whore be anything else but insanity?) is that you get to find out who your real friends are. Don't wanna get soppy here (and no I haven't had a Jack 'N Jill) but credit needs to be given to those who have showed their concern for Da Wizard's potential demise. Homer of course gets five stars for pointing out that there really is no need to beat maself up over this. New Year ....Same Problems....but different

Twas a peaceful New Year for us all in Bangkok thank God. The Muslims didn't disturb our party and what a PARTY it was.
Glad its all finished now. Back to reality but the drop down to reality was a bit bumpy for both Da Wizard and Homer after 6 weeks of being at it. "Just say No!!"... we are....

In an effort to escape the party Da Wizard has been escaping The Big Mango every weekend. Hua Hin Sofitel was two weeks ago with Kanchanaburi this week.

As you can see from the pics Kanchanaburi is well worth a visit but hire a car when you are there and if you want to go see the tigers at the Tiger Temple don't make the same mistake that I have made twice now and translate it into Thai as Wat Seur as although this translation is correct the ACTUAL tiger temple is called "Wat Pa Luangta Bua Yannasampanno Forest Monastery".

Anyway I am sure that regular visitors here aren't reall that interested in this blog becoming a tourist guide and really wanna know the real story.... Is Da Wizard still dating a whore???? And where are the pics of the said lady of the night who has cast her magic on the poor unsuspecting philanderer???

I have thought long and hard about the pic situation and will post some soon. The biggest downside I can see to having any feelings for a sex worker is all the extra thinking you have to do compared with a normal sensible relationship. Just when it all seemed to be right....ah I will fill you in on the details but this was the start of the Party from 12 noon Dec 24th until December 27th.... a long party with lots of drama and soap opera bullshit in between. Ralph and Da Wizards Pole Dancing Goat had a toe to toe confrontation in Patpong! Now I is barred from hoofing the said Goat....unusual for Ralph to misbehave like this but what can I say?

The question is will I stay away? Will I gamble 7 years of consistant love and general peace with someone whom has been trained in male tolerance beyond anything I have ever seen before for a 21 year old prostitute??? I think that just telling lies is perhaps the best answer.... this honesty bollox perhaps doesn't work anyway?

Now regular readers will know my views on having relationships with Patpong Princesses and their ilke. Anyone who does it is a fool and deserves all the horrors that befall him.

So...... guess what has happened???? Ashamed as I am to announce to the world but one has got to me!!! Don't like using that L word and I suspect strongly that my other famous phrase " I love you no shit! But when the shit starts I don't love you!" will come into play real soon 'cos the shit will start it always does.

So what the hell am I playing at? There is no future in this at all. I have Ralph and this Go Go Goat aint gonna stop whoring so why the hell am I even allowing this to poison my blog? Well its a lesson to us all.... if we play in the Viper pit sometimes you is gonna get bit however clever you may think you are. This will all end in tears and I doubt very much it will be hers.

So who is she? How the hell do I know? They have a Pandoras box under their beds of lies that have never been told before so my factual knowledge is sparse and about as reliable as the WMD evidence that George W relied on.

All I do know is that I am in dire need of a good kick in the arse. I am sure it will come sooner than I imagine. Homer reckons she is genuine, she isn't asking me for money (yet) but has also made it clear 100% that she fully intends to pursue her chosen career path.

I am off to Phuket on Friday to get away from the party and to consider the meaning of life which we know is actually 42.

FRIDAYS, just before dawn, are hanging days in Singapore. Navarat Maykha, a Thai mother of two small children, awaited her turn as she prayed in her jail cell with her attorney, Peter Fernando, just a few days before her execution. An impoverished and uneducated woman, and also deeply religious, she swore until her death that she was unaware of the heroin that was hidden in the lining of a suitcase given to her by a Nigerian friend.

Singapore - a tiny island nation of 3 million perched at the southern tip of the Asian continent - prides itself on its strict drug laws, which include a mandatory death sentence for anyone caught with as little as half an ounce of heroin.

"It's heartbreaking sometimes," said Fernando during a recent interview from his office in Singapore. "If you are an addict, and you are simply sitting at home with more than 15 grams of heroin and you cannot prove with scientific accuracy that a portion of the drugs are for personal use, you will hang."

The fiercely authoritarian government micro-manages all aspects of the secretive hangings, as it does everything else in this country. This efficiency allows for the possibility of multiple executions when drug offenders swell the prison. On September 27, 1996, six people were hanged in one morning. Four had been hanged the previous Friday, all for drug trafficking. According to Amnesty International, 1995 - the year Navarat was executed - was a busy year at the gallows in Singapore, when more than fifty people were hanged, the majority for drug offenses.

In its March 1997 International Narcotics Control Strategy Report, the US State Department said that "the number of drug traffickers hanged in Singapore increased dramatically in the last two years." Amnesty International, also describing a "sharp increase in the number of executions" in a 1997 report, states that those executed are most often small-time addicts and couriers, usually poorly educated and economically vulnerable, "while those who organise and profit from the crimes frequently escape capture and prosecution."

But that does not describe the worst of it. The Nation has learned that the highest levels of the Singaporean government, using the New York-based Morgan Guaranty Trust Company, a subsidiary of J.P. Morgan, as a custodial operative, are engaging in joint business ventures with one of the world's most notorious drug lords and with the drug-backed military dictatorship of Burma (Myanmar). This has been confirmed by corporate, government and legal documents from four countries and was contended by high-ranking US narcotics and government officials in private interviews.

Dual-track policy

ACCORDING to interviews with Singaporean lawyers and US narcotics officials, the heroin found in Singapore comes mostly from Burma, one of the world's largest exporters of the highly profitable drug, with 1996 exports estimated at $1 billion. Since the State Law and Order Restoration Council (SLORC) takeover of Burma in 1988, illicit drug exports have more than doubled; French and US satellite surveys have shown an explosion of poppy-growing in areas under the SLORC's direct control. In 1995 the Australian Parliament heard testimony on SLORC protection of the narcotics trade as a matter of policy, "in order to raise government revenue." And a report last year by the US embassy in Rangoon, based on the SLORC's economic data, concluded that exports of opiates "appear to be worth about as much as all legal exports" and that investments in infrastructure and hotels are coming from major opiate-growing and opiate-exporting organisations [see Bernstein and Kean, "People of the Opiate," December 16, 1996].

"Drug traffickers who once spent their days leading mule trains down jungle tracks are now leading lights in Burma's new market economy," said Secretary of State Madeleine Albright in a statement this past July. "We are increasingly concerned that Burma's drug traffickers, with official encouragement, are laundering their profits through Burmese banks and companies - some of which are joint ventures with foreign businesses," she said. It is with the SLORC, and allied organizations, that Singapore's hang-'em-high government is investing so heavily - in such ventures as hotels and infrastructure.

This dual-track policy is condoned and encouraged at top levels of the Singaporean regime, including by Lee Kuan Yew, the country's undisputed strongman. Lee, whose antidrug policies are among the strictest in the world, is participating in the country's deepening business relationships with renowned heroin trafficker Lo Hsing Han of Burma and his son and business partner, Steven Law. Their operations in Burma, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the United States are now the focus of an ongoing U.S. government narcotics and money-laundering investigation, The Nation has learned.

Lo Hsing Han, a Kokang Chinese from the opium-producing region of Burma's Golden Triangle, was convicted and sentenced to death in 1973 - not for drug trafficking, which had been carried out with the tacit agreement of the state, but for treason. After being released in a 1980 government amnesty, he returned to the Kokang region. As of 1994, Lo controlled the most heavily armed drug-trafficking organization in Southeast Asia. Today he rules with godfather status over a clan of traffickers, and his organisation controls a substantial amount of the world's opium production, according to US narcotics officials. A memo from the Thai government's Office of Narcotics Control Board states that Lo's trafficking activities are augmented through his link to Burma's military intelligence chief, Lieut Gen Khin Nyunt, described as Lo's "supporter." It says that in 1993 Lo was granted the "privilege from Lieut. Gen Khin Nyunt to smuggle heroin from the Kokang Group to Tachilek [on the Thai border] without interception."

Lo is chairman of Burma's Asia World Company Limited, managed by his son Law, who has achieved unprecedented success under the current dictatorship. "Law's power and connections are unparalleled," comments one US official. "No other domestic investor in Burma can get an audience with a cabinet member with one phone call. When Law got married, eight cabinet members showed up." Law's multimillion-dollar business ventures seem to win all bidding wars in Burma's development race. (Law was denied a visa to the United States last year. "We have information that leads us to believe he is a trafficker in illicit substances," a US government official told The Nation in explanation.)

Business is business

WALL Street Journal editors, in the 1997 Index of Economic Freedom, rated Singapore as the most business-friendly country in the world. Unfortunately, that friendliness has been extended to Lo Hsing Han, Steven Law and the narco-dictatorship of Burma.

As Tay Thiam Peng, director of foreign operations at Singapore's Trade Development Board, bluntly put it in 1996, when it comes to business, morality takes a back seat to profits. "While the other countries are ignoring Myanmar (Burma), it's a good time for us to go in," Tay stated. "You get better deals, and you're more appreciated... Singapore's position is not to judge them and take a judgmental moral high ground." As Burma's number-one business partner, Singapore now has 53 projects in Burma, which as of January totaled nearly $1.2 billion.

"Since 1988...over half of [the investments from] Singapore have been tied to the family of narco-trafficker Lo Hsing Han,'' says Robert Gelbard, former US Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs. Most of these investments are in joint projects with Lo's family-controlled Asia World Company. Asia World includes a host of subsidiaries and three overseas branches in Singapore. US narcotics officials say that these "overseas branches" are part of the ongoing money-laundering investigation.

Asia World's 1996 company profile states that it began as a trader in agricultural and animal feed products but today "has emerged as one of Myanmar's (Burma's) fastest growing and most diversified conglomerates." Burma's largest private-sector enterprise, it has interests in trading, manufacturing, real estate, industrial investment, development, construction, transportation, imports and distribution. Asia World's operations now include the running of a deep-water port in Rangoon, the bus company Leo Express into northern Burma, and a $33 million toll highway from Burma's poppy-growing region to the Chinese border.

The combination of the Burmese military's ability to protect shipments and production in the country and Asia World's ability to move product over land and sea completes a perfect marriage of convenience. In addition to these operations, US narcotics officials say that Lo Hsing Han also runs a container business, shipping cargo out of Rangoon from a nondescript container yard the size of a city block. They suspect it of being a drug-shipping operation. Although it is a subsidiary of Asia World, the containerized cargo processing facility has no name, no sign and is not mentioned in Asia World's business profile. According to one official, some of the several hundred containers that have left this yard have gone to Singapore and the United States.

In a June telephone interview from his headquarters in Rangoon, Law denied all allegations of drug trafficking. He laughed and said that Asia World operates under government regulations, "so if we do anything against government policy, we cannot do our business," Law said. "That's why concerning your point of any drugs in our city, I can say we haven't [been] involved."

The money trail: the Myanmar Fund

THE Singapore government, in cooperation with Morgan Guaranty Trust Company, is directly connected to key business ventures of drug kingpin Lo through an investment group called the Myanmar Fund. The fund, which provides investors "with long term capital appreciation from direct or indirect investments in Myanmar (Burma)," is registered as a tax-free fund in Jersey, Channel Islands, according to documents provided to the Irish Stock Exchange.

Singapore's largest government-controlled financial institution - the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) - is listed in the documents along with Morgan Guaranty Trust Bank (a J.P. Morgan subsidiary separate from the Trust Company) as a core shareholder in the Myanmar Fund. A September 1996 GIC business profile from the Registry of Companies and Businesses in Singapore shows that high-level

Singaporean politicians are officers and directors of the GIC, including senior minister Lee Kuan Yew; his son, deputy prime minister Brig Gen Lee Hsien Loong; and finance minister Dr Richard Hu. As a core shareholder, the GIC helps determine how the fund's money is invested in Burma. Jean Tan, a spokesperson for the Singaporean embassy in Washington, confirmed in a June interview that the GIC holds a 21.5 percent share of the Myanmar Fund. As of last November, this investment was worth $10 million, according to the Singaporean government.

The Myanmar Fund owns 25 percent of an Asia World subsidiary, Asia World Industries. In fact, the Myanmar Fund's 1997 first-quarter report features two pictures of Asia World factories on its cover. The Myanmar Fund has also heavily invested in a number of luxury hotels in Burma, including Rangoon's Traders and Shangri-La. The Asia World business profile describes the Traders and Shangri-La hotels as major investment projects for Lo Hsing Han's company. It says that the Shangri-La Hotel (and surrounding apartments and offices) will be "the biggest of all" Asia World's investments, with "$200 million...in appropriation of the project."

In an official press release last November, the Singapore government stated that its investments in the Myanmar Fund were "completely open and above board" and that its investments in both the two luxury hotels and Asia World were "straightforward investments in bona fide commercial projects." However, the fund's operations are hardly straightforward and open. The operations of the GIC itself are effectively a state secret. The government company is not required to file annual reports or report to parliament. It has no public accountability, even though it uses public moneys for its investments. Furthermore, according to fund documents, in late 1994 - only weeks after being listed on the Irish Stock Exchange - the GIC's shares disappeared from the stock exchange register and were re-registered under the name of Ince & Co. The Singaporean government acknowledged in November that Morgan Guaranty Trust Company is the custodian for the GIC securities, and that Ince & Co. was set up by Morgan to hold the shares in its custody.

Morgan Guaranty Trust Bank, investing yet other funds on behalf of clients, is the largest core shareholder (followed by the GIC) of the Myanmar Fund at 42 percent, according to a fund report. This means that together, the Singaporean regime's GIC and Morgan Guaranty Trust Bank have been in control of 63 percent of the Myanmar Fund and its co-investments with the corporation chaired by drug baron Lo Hsing Han. (The GIC shares re-listed as Ince & Co have shifted hands once again. In a February document obtained by The Nation, the fund reported transfer of the Ince & Co. shares to another company, Hare & Co. In telephone interviews, spokesmen for the Myanmar Fund, the GIC and Morgan Guaranty refused to provide information about the identity or purpose of the new custodial company.)

Dining with the devil

SINGAPORE'S dealings with Lo Hsing Han and Steven Law continue to expand unabated. Singapore's GIC investment in the Myanmar Fund increased by 4.3 percent in 1996. In Rangoon, the Traders Hotel celebrated its official opening last November. At the opening ceremony, attended by Singapore's Ambassador and graced with an ap-pearance by Lo himself, the presiding SLORC minister publicly thanked both Steven Law and the government of Singapore for paving the road for a smooth business partnership. "I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the government of Singapore," he said, "without whose support and encouragement there would be very few Singaporean businessmen in our country."

Since then, ground has been broken on the construction of Sinmardev, a new, $207 million industrial park and port on the outskirts of Rangoon. A Singaporean consortium is the leader in a joint venture with the SLORC, the Myanmar Fund, Lo's family company and a slew of international shareholders. The Myanmar Fund holds a 10 percent interest in Sinmardev. Singaporean entrepreneur Albert Hong, head of Sinmardev, described the project as the largest foreign investment in Burma outside the energy field.

"Singapore is more involved with Lo than any other country, because that's basically where Steven Law is functioning out of when he's not in Burma," observes a US narcotics official.

Singapore's rulers continue to deny any wrongdoing in connection with their relationship to Asia World. "It is fairly far-fetched, trying to link the Singaporean government and drug traffickers," said embassy spokesperson Jean Tan.

"Nonsense," says Singapore's former solicitor general Francis Seow, now a research fellow at the East Asian Legal Studies Program of Harvard Law School. The former close associate of Lee Kuan Yew says he knows "through personal experience" that Lee micro-manages every aspect of Singaporean political, economic and social policy.

Dr Chee Soon Juan, secretary general of the Singapore Democratic Party and a leader of Singapore's political opposition, was labeled a traitor for raising the drug issue in Singapore. "Drug peddlers are routinely hanged in Singapore for carrying heroin," wrote Chee, in a rare and courageous act of public protest in response to a documentary that aired on Australian television last year, Singapore Sling. "And where are all these drugs coming from? Drug lords like Lo Hsing Han are the big-time pushers aided by the SLORC generals." "Is this not hypocrisy at its worst?" he asked.

"The Singapore government knows it's having dinner with the devil, and sharing a very short spoon," says Seow. "And it is a terrible double standard. Drug moneys are being laundered apparently by the same drug lords who supply the heroin for which small-time drug dealers are hanged. We are reaping profits as Burma's biggest investor, but we're being paid with blood money."

This note is in response to a reader who claims I am a hypocrite becase I am against torturing suspected Islamic terrorists.

The reason I am not into this torture malarchy because the very difference between us and those that follow the irrelavant superstition of Islam IS the fact that we maintain our values and don't sink to their level. What do you propose? Do you think that we should kidnap Muslims and cut of their heads live on CNN to stop the Muz bombing us?

Clearly we cannot do this. The ticking bomb argument often used by Israel that enables the secret services to employ otherwise illegal methods to prevent an attack that is already in progress does indeed have merit. However these decisions must be made by people who remain accountable. Without accountability we shrink back and join Islam in the dark ages.

Unfortunately this blog does waiver between my concern at my lifestyle being threatened by Islam and the great fun that we have here. I enjoy writing about the fun far more too!!

Bali Trip..The Balinese Master The Art Of Shooting Themselves In The Foot.

Ok Da Wizard don't like obituary's but they have to be done from time to time. Just now I am bouncing through rain clouds heading back to Da Big Mango via Singapore after Thai Airways cancelled my flight as they didn't have sufficient passengers. I particularly loathe Garuda whose atrocious food should only be fed to suicide bombers. Fortunately I fly Singapore to Bangkok on Thai and should be in Patpong goating by midnight.

Bali is dying right now. The fuel increases have meant the locals are leaving their cars at home so traffic is light and almost pleasant .

Restaurants are deserted as tourists and locals await the next installment of death by Islam. Extra security is as visible as it is farcicle but the Balinese war drums are starting to beat as the Police are beings swept away by vigilantes whose incompetence is even greater than the very police they replace. The police are currently on a daily basis kicking down the doors of Expats to find drugs , not for any moral reason other than the thirty to fifty thousand dollars they demand each time they find ANYTHING from a valium upwards.

Six reported rapes of Westerner's , four murders and countless armed robberies just in South Bali make this behaviour by the Pigs that bit more abhorrent. I watched in disgust at the Arena bar in Sanur as these animals drank and sang karaoke searching for other ways to extort money from the westerner's there before they left to rut with under age girls stored in Sanur's notorious houses of ill repute.

Immigration of course are hot on the trail of money too as the fuel prices bite and expats that for twenty years have called Bali their home are talking about packing up as they are tired of paying bribes that eventually choke their businesses to death.

Our business is blooming there on Monkey Island but I am fortunate to have great partners who can tolerate living in that environment. I hope that it may long continue but longevity of anything and Indonesia rarely go hand in hand.

Humour is not really flourishing on the Island of greed and fun is soon to be made illegal. Despite my bias I have to feel some of the pain the normal people are now feeling, but their ignorance of their own avarice and the belief that 'more tourists will come' may mean that this pain is a bitter but required pill as Indonesia drags itself into the modern world.

Can't wait to land in Bangkok and swap some fluids with one of ma goats! It seems that Ralph has been chowing down on one of her surveyors Joy since I have been away. What a monster I have created.

The death of a Merkinologist

Yesterday the sad news was announced that Dr. Andy Toth, former US Consul in Bali, drinking buddy , diver and Merkinlogist died at home after a long battle with cancer. Pak Andy will be remembered by many for his maveric behaviour in Koki's during his consular days. We will remember an extremely intelligent individual who was abused by his government whilst performing a thankless job. A hugely knowledgable man who met Asimov twice and had stories that showed how interesting a life well lived can be. Ralph and me hope that Yanti can fill the void that is left by her husband whom she stood by and cared for until the end.

He was buried at the Muslim grave yard in Sidakarya on Bali where he belongs. Many people both Indonesian and Western will raise a glass and smile thinking of him I am sure. The Order of Merkinologists particularly won't ever forget his humour.

CIA's Harsh Interrogation Techniques Described

Sources Say Agency's Tactics Lead to Questionable Confessions, Sometimes to Death

By BRIAN ROSS and RICHARD ESPOSITO

Nov. 18, 2005 — - Harsh interrogation techniques authorized by top officials of the CIA have led to questionable confessions and the death of a detainee since the techniques were first authorized in mid-March 2002, ABC News has been told by former and current intelligence officers and supervisors.

They say they are revealing specific details of the techniques, and their impact on confessions, because the public needs to know the direction their agency has chosen. All gave their accounts on the condition that their names and identities not be revealed. Portions of their accounts are corrobrated by public statements of former CIA officers and by reports recently published that cite a classified CIA Inspector General's report.

Other portions of their accounts echo the accounts of escaped prisoners from one CIA prison in Afghanistan.

"They would not let you rest, day or night. Stand up, sit down, stand up, sit down. Don't sleep. Don't lie on the floor," one prisoner said through a translator. The detainees were also forced to listen to rap artist Eminem's "Slim Shady" album. The music was so foreign to them it made them frantic, sources said.

Contacted after the completion of the ABC News investigation, CIA officials would neither confirm nor deny the accounts. They simply declined to comment.

The CIA sources described a list of six "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques" instituted in mid-March 2002 and used, they said, on a dozen top al Qaeda targets incarcerated in isolation at secret locations on military bases in regions from Asia to Eastern Europe. According to the sources, only a handful of CIA interrogators are trained and authorized to use the techniques:

1. The Attention Grab: The interrogator forcefully grabs the shirt front of the prisoner and shakes him.

2. Attention Slap: An open-handed slap aimed at causing pain and triggering fear.

3. The Belly Slap: A hard open-handed slap to the stomach. The aim is to cause pain, but not internal injury. Doctors consulted advised against using a punch, which could cause lasting internal damage.

4. Long Time Standing: This technique is described as among the most effective. Prisoners are forced to stand, handcuffed and with their feet shackled to an eye bolt in the floor for more than 40 hours. Exhaustion and sleep deprivation are effective in yielding confessions.

5. The Cold Cell: The prisoner is left to stand naked in a cell kept near 50 degrees. Throughout the time in the cell the prisoner is doused with cold water.

6. Water Boarding: The prisoner is bound to an inclined board, feet raised and head slightly below the feet. Cellophane is wrapped over the prisoner's face and water is poured over him. Unavoidably, the gag reflex kicks in and a terrifying fear of drowning leads to almost instant pleas to bring the treatment to a halt.

According to the sources, CIA officers who subjected themselves to the water boarding technique lasted an average of 14 seconds before caving in. They said al Qaeda's toughest prisoner, Khalid Sheik Mohammed, won the admiration of interrogators when he was able to last between two and two-and-a-half minutes before begging to confess.

"The person believes they are being killed, and as such, it really amounts to a mock execution, which is illegal under international law," said John Sifton of Human Rights Watch.

The techniques are controversial among experienced intelligence agency and military interrogators. Many feel that a confession obtained this way is an unreliable tool. Two experienced officers have told ABC that there is little to be gained by these techniques that could not be more effectively gained by a methodical, careful, psychologically based interrogation. According to a classified report prepared by the CIA Inspector General John Helgerwon and issued in 2004, the techniques "appeared to constitute cruel, and degrading treatment under the (Geneva) convention," the New York Times reported on Nov. 9, 2005.

It is "bad interrogation. I mean you can get anyone to confess to anything if the torture's bad enough," said former CIA officer Bob Baer.

Larry Johnson, a former CIA officer and a deputy director of the State Department's office of counterterrorism, recently wrote in the Los Angeles Times, "What real CIA field officers know firsthand is that it is better to build a relationship of trust … than to extract quick confessions through tactics such as those used by the Nazis and the Soviets."

One argument in favor of their use: time. In the early days of al Qaeda captures, it was hoped that speeding confessions would result in the development of important operational knowledge in a timely fashion.

However, ABC News was told that at least three CIA officers declined to be trained in the techniques before a cadre of 14 were selected to use them on a dozen top al Qaeda suspects in order to obtain critical information. In at least one instance, ABC News was told that the techniques led to questionable information aimed at pleasing the interrogators and that this information had a significant impact on U.S. actions in Iraq.

According to CIA sources, Ibn al Shaykh al Libbi, after two weeks of enhanced interrogation, made statements that were designed to tell the interrogators what they wanted to hear. Sources say Al Libbi had been subjected to each of the progressively harsher techniques in turn and finally broke after being water boarded and then left to stand naked in his cold cell overnight where he was doused with cold water at regular intervals.

His statements became part of the basis for the Bush administration claims that Iraq trained al Qaeda members to use biochemical weapons. Sources tell ABC that it was later established that al Libbi had no knowledge of such training or weapons and fabricated the statements because he was terrified of further harsh treatment.

"This is the problem with using the waterboard. They get so desperate that they begin telling you what they think you want to hear," one source said.

However, sources said, al Libbi does not appear to have sought to intentionally misinform investigators, as at least one account has stated. The distinction in this murky world is nonetheless an important one. Al Libbi sought to please his investigators, not lead them down a false path, two sources with firsthand knowledge of the statements said.

When properly used, the techniques appear to be closely monitored and are signed off on in writing on a case-by-case, technique-by-technique basis, according to highly placed current and former intelligence officers involved in the program. In this way, they say, enhanced interrogations have been authorized for about a dozen high value al Qaeda targets -- Khalid Sheik Mohammed among them. According to the sources, all of these have confessed, none of them has died, and all of them remain incarcerated.

While some media accounts have described the locations where these detainees are located as a string of secret CIA prisons -- a gulag, as it were -- in fact, sources say, there are a very limited number of these locations in use at any time, and most often they consist of a secure building on an existing or former military base. In addition, they say, the prisoners usually are not scattered but travel together to these locations, so that information can be extracted from one and compared with others. Currently, it is believed that one or more former Soviet bloc air bases and military installations are the Eastern European location of the top suspects. Khalid Sheik Mohammed is among the suspects detained there, sources said.

The sources told ABC that the techniques, while progressively aggressive, are not deemed torture, and the debate among intelligence officers as to whether they are effective should not be underestimated. There are many who feel these techniques, properly supervised, are both valid and necessary, the sources said. While harsh, they say, they are not torture and are reserved only for the most important and most difficult prisoners.

According to the sources, when an interrogator wishes to use a particular technique on a prisoner, the policy at the CIA is that each step of the interrogation process must be signed off at the highest level -- by the deputy director for operations for the CIA. A cable must be sent and a reply received each time a progressively harsher technique is used. The described oversight appears tough but critics say it could be tougher. In reality, sources said, there are few known instances when an approval has not been granted. Still, even the toughest critics of the techniques say they are relatively well monitored and limited in use.

Two sources also told ABC that the techniques -- authorized for use by only a handful of trained CIA officers -- have been misapplied in at least one instance.

The sources said that in that case a young, untrained junior officer caused the death of one detainee at a mud fort dubbed the "salt pit" that is used as a prison. They say the death occurred when the prisoner was left to stand naked throughout the harsh Afghanistan night after being doused with cold water. He died, they say, of hypothermia.

According to the sources, a second CIA detainee died in Iraq and a third detainee died following harsh interrogation by Department of Defense personnel and contractors in Iraq. CIA sources said that in the DOD case, the interrogation was harsh, but did not involve the CIA.

The Kabul fort has also been the subject of confusion. Several intelligence sources involved in both the enhanced interrogation program and the program to ship detainees back to their own country for interrogation -- a process described as rendition, say that the number of detainees in each program has been added together to suggest as many as 100 detainees are moved around the world from one secret CIA facility to another. In the rendition program, foreign nationals captured in the conflict zones are shipped back to their own countries on occasion for interrogation and prosecution.

There have been several dozen instances of rendition. There have been a little over a dozen authorized enhanced interrogations. As a result, the enhanced interrogation program has been described as one encompassing 100 or more prisoners. Multiple CIA sources told ABC that it is not. The renditions have also been described as illegal. They are not, our sources said, although they acknowledge the procedures are in an ethical gray area and are at times used for the convenience of extracting information under harsher conditions that the U.S. would allow.

ABC was told that several dozen renditions of this kind have occurred. Jordan is one country recently cited as an "emerging" center for renditions, according to published reports. The ABC sources said that rendition of this sort are legal and should not be confused with illegal "snatches" of targets off the streets of a home country by officers of yet another country. The United States is currently charged with such an illegal rendition in Italy. Israel and at least one European nation have also been accused of such renditions.

Da Wizard's business has been booming away so time to blog has been very limited to say the least. Of course the weekends have been as they always are and we have been avoiding the dark rooms twitching for hours as much as we can.

Loi Kratong was last night and for those of you that don't know what that is here's a quick lesson:

“Loi Krathong” is traditionally performed on the full moon night of the twelfth lunar month, which usually falls on some day in November. The floating of a ‘Krathong' – a banana–leaf cup – is intended to float away ill fortune as well as to express apologies to Khongkha or Ganga, the River Goddess. Some believe that the ritual is meant to worship the Buddha's footprint on the bank of the Narmada River, while others say that it is to pay respect to Phra Uppakhut, one of the Lord Buddha's great disciples.

The Loi Krathong Festival is celebrated nationwide in Thailand, especially where there are rivers, canals or sources of water, with different unique characteristics.

Basically in terms that our regulars will understand its the night of the year when all the goats where traditional dress and go float candles with their lovers.

Last night all the goats in Patpong were on a 2000bht fine if they didn't show for work (the majority of PP Goats have Thai boyfriends) so the bars were packed.

Ralph got hammered and became lairy so the night was cut short. Homer and Da Wizard were happy to get our heads down early as work requires our full attention right now as the Xmas rush is starting.

Da Wizard presently has a fulltime Mia Noi on the books. Twenty nine years old working as a Nanny in our building. Both Homer and me have been rating her highly for ages now but we thought she was only 17 so left her alone....one Da Wizard discovered she was 29....well I was in like Flyn wasn't I?

London Bomber Buried in Saints Cemetery

The BBC reported that one of the suicide bombers was buried in Pakistan in the Saints cemetary. If Islam was the peaceful religion they they tell us it us then why are the silent supposedly peaceful Muslims not protesting having a mass murder being declared a Saint?

Bali Bombs and Divine Retribution

Da Wizard eased off Blogging to judge what the world reaction was to the latest bombs in Bali. The bombs of course were predicted by us and many other blogs who follow the Muslim attacks on our civilisation throughout the world.

Bali's tourism industry was destroyed by those bombs and this time it will take a lot longer to recover as people now understand that Indonesia is a nation whose population support the Islamists Jihad against us. The poor Balinese who are Hindu are suffering as a result of this but their faliure to stop this Islamisation of their Island is the reason for the successful attacks there.

There will be more attacks there until the Balinese grasp the nettle and enforce control on the muslim extremeists that teach hate of all but their irrelavant evil superstition that is Islam.

The terrible devastation in Pakistan and the subsequent faliure of the international community to raise the $170m for aid shows how split the world now is.

They say that Jihad doesn't mean Holy War but a struggle for justice. Interesting enough I don't see Jihadis in their thousands flowing into Pakistan to Jihad for their Muslim brothers as they do in Iraq. Does this prove the true nature of the follows of Allah?

Interesting too is that the SUPER rich Islamic nations such as Saudi etc aren't so keen to help their Muslim brethren. Its seems to be that like most religions the Mus like to pick out the things that they like from their superstition and leave out what they don't like.

Muslim media screamed 'divine retribution' when Katrina hit the States but I think the events of God tapping his toe in Pakistan were perhaps a better example if you believe in that nonesense. Definition of A Goat

This is a question that I do get asked rather a lot. "What is a Bangkok Goat?" "Do you consider my girlfriend to be a goat?" Tough question to answer when friends ask you that but hey life is full of tough questions so answer the friend as you think he would like to be answered... fuck! Now all Da Wizard's friends will be askin' "Were you honest when you answered me?" LOL lets make a definition and then we will have something to work from.

Da Goat phrase applies to poorly educated Asian women including but not neccesarily prostitutes. Nearly all of Thailand's prostitutes come from the rural North East where not much grows and parents expect their Goats to send money home each month so ya your average Isaan hooker is a goat but there are plenty of straight girls too that fit the bill.

Goats are things to be nice to and not to be taken advantage of although the little cunts will take advantage of you in a second white boy! In fact to be fair, they are not prejudicial in anyway. For they will gladly rip off and defraud men of any race , as Da Goat does not care for creed nor colour. When questioned upon its actions expect nothing more than a loud "Baaaaaaaaa".

To quote Homer (who needs to listen to his own great advice)....

Enjoying a foot massage

One of the finest things about living in Bangkok is that you can be pampered like royalty for very little money. The foot massage is one of the more innocent pleasures and one that Da Wizard doesn't take advantage of nearly as often as he should. Today however is an exception and I thoroughly intend to try and make it a regular treat.

Foot massage in Thailand costs from 150bht upwards although 250-300bht is about the norm. So for 6$US you can snuggle up in a big leather easy chair whilst a fellow human being protrates themselves before you and makes you feel better. Not a bad deal I reckon and why I don't do it more often is beyond me. Loads of good places to go throughout the city and everyone has their favourite.

And we all know fools like this dude!

I am always getting emailed by readers of this rag and get asked the big question:

"my Thai girlfriend used to work in a bar but now I take care of her. Do you think she is still a prostitute?"

Well unfortunately the answer is 'yes'. They are either a hooker or not. Its not something that they recover from. You get a very very few exceptions to this rule but a great way to find out is to stop paying the 20 000bht a month to her( this is the average for a lease on a goat) and see if she goes to work or goes back whoring/defrauding. Its a great litmus test and one that few will try cos the reality is that most already know the answer in their hearts. Sad but true.

Da Wizard personally thinks that if you are mad enough to give your goat 20 000bht a month and the lazy bitch don't work then why would you be suprised when you so called 'girlfriend' turns out to to be nothing more than a long term leased whore?

Sitting in the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with a metal arrow on the ceiling of my hotel room pointing to Mecca and the television showing a female news presenter in full hijab, I feel impelled to write about our troubles with Islam.

Four years after the September 11 2001 terrorist attacks on New York and Washington, which were perpetrated in the name of Allah, most people living in what we still loosely call the west would agree that we do have troubles with Islam. The vast majority of Muslims are not terrorists, but most of the terrorists who threaten us claim to be Muslims. Most countries with a Muslim majority show a resistance to what Europeans and Americans generally view as desirable modernity, including the essentials of liberal democracy.

Why? What's the nub of the problem? Here are six different views often heard in the west, but also, it's important to add, in Muslim countries such as Iran. As you go down the list, you might like to put a mental tick against the view you most strongly agree with. It's logically possible to put smaller ticks against a couple of others, but not against them all.

1 The fundamental problem is not just Islam but religion itself, which is superstition, false consciousness, the abrogation of reason. In principle, Christianity or Judaism are little better, particularly in the versions embraced by the American right. The world would be a much better place if everyone understood the truths revealed by science, had confidence in human reason and embraced secular humanism. If we must have a framed image of a bearded old man on the wall, let it be a photograph of Charles Darwin. What we need is not just a secular state but a secular society.

This is a view held by many highly educated people in the post-Christian west, especially in western Europe, including some of my closest friends. If translated directly into a political prescription, it has the minor drawback of requiring that some 3 billion to 5 billion men and women abandon their fundamental beliefs. Nor has the track record of purely secular regimes over the last hundred years been altogether inspiring.

2 The fundamental problem is not religion itself, but the particular religion of Islam. Islam, unlike western Christianity, does not allow the separation of church and state, religion and politics. The fact that my Iranian newspaper gives the year as 1384 points to a larger truth. With its systematic discrimination against women, its barbaric punishments for homosexuality and its militant intolerance, Islam is stuck in the middle ages. What it needs is its Reformation.

A very widespread view. Two objections are that such a view encourages a monolithic, essentialist understanding of Islam, and tries to understand its history too much in western terms (middle ages, Reformation). If we mean by Islam "what people calling themselves Muslim actually think, say and do", there is a huge spectrum of different realities.

3 The problem is not Islam but Islamism. One of the world's great religions has been misrepresented by fanatics such as Osama bin Laden, who have twisted it into the service of a political ideology of hate. It's these ideologists and movements of political Islamism that we must combat. Working with the benign, peaceful majority of the world's Muslims, we can separate the poisonous fruit from the healthy tree.

The view promulgated by Qur'an-toting western politicians such as George Bush and Tony Blair. Well, they would say that, wouldn't they? They're not going to insult millions of Muslim voters and the foreign countries upon which the west relies for its imported oil. But do they really believe it? I have my doubts. Put them on a truth serum, and I bet they'd be closer to 2, while many atheist or agnostic European leaders would be at 1. On the other hand, this analysis is made with learning and force by distinguished specialists on the Muslim world.

4 The nub of the problem is not religion, Islam or even Islamism, but a specific history of the Arabs. Among 22 members of the Arab League, none is a home-grown democracy. (Iraq now has some elements of democracy, but hardly home-grown.) Needless to say, this is not a racist claim about Arabs but a complex argument about history, economics, political culture, society and a set of failed attempts at post-colonial modernisation.

A case can be made. There are democracies with Muslim majorities (Turkey, Mali). The political scientist Alfred Stepan has written a fascinating article suggesting that, in the democracy stakes, non-Arab Muslim countries have fared roughly as well as non-Muslim countries at a comparable level of economic development. But I'm struck by the fact that even in a traditionally anti-Arab country such as Iran, very few people think the trouble is just with Arabia.

5 We, not they, are the root of the problem. From the Crusades to Iraq, western imperialism, colonialism, Christian and post-Christian ideological hegemonism have themselves created this antipathy to western liberal democracy; and, at the extreme, its mortal enemies. Moreover, after causing (by the Holocaust of European barbarism), supporting or at least accepting the establishment of the state of Israel, we have for more than half a century ignored the terrible plight of the Palestinians.

A widespread view among Muslims, and by no means only among Arabs in the Middle East. Also shared, from a different starting point, by some on the western left. Of course, even if this simplistic version of history were entirely true, we couldn't change the past. But we can acknowledge the historical damage for which we are genuinely responsible. And we can do more to create a free Palestine next to a secure Israel.

6 Whatever your view of the relative merits of the west and Islam, the most acute tension comes at the edges where they meet. It arises, in particular, from the direct, personal encounter of young, first- or second-generation Muslim immigrants with western, and especially European, secular modernity. The most seductive system known to humankind, with its polychromatic consumer images of health, wealth, excitement, sex and power, is hugely attractive to young people from often poor, conservative, Muslim backgrounds. But, repelled by its hedonistic excesses or perhaps disappointed in their secret hopes, alienated by the reality of their marginalised lives in the west or feeling themselves rejected by it, a few - a tiny minority - embrace a fierce, extreme, warlike new version of the faith of their fathers. From Mohammed Atta and the Hamburg cell of al-Qaida, through the bombers of Madrid to those of London, this has become a depressingly familiar story.

I wish I could find some compelling evidence against this claim. But I can't. (Can some reader help?) Even if we were to assist at the birth of a free Palestine and pull out of Iraq tomorrow, this problem would remain. It threatens to make Europe a less civilised, comfortable place to live over the next 10 years.

Now, which of the six views got your largest tick? In answering that question, you will not just be saying something about the Islamic world; you will be saying something about yourself. For what we call Islam is a mirror in which we see ourselves. Tell me your Islam and I will tell you who you are.

4 Years On From September 11th

Da Wizard watched the trajedy unfold whilst playing in a pool competition in Bali, Indonesia. Four years on here are my thoughts.

Da Wizard cried on the 12th listening to the heart rendering messages of those that knew they were gonna die called home for the last time.
We all agreed when the Guard at Buckingham Palace played the Star Spangled Banner. We were all New Yorkers that day.
Da Wizard had to wonder what would motivate an intellectual like Mohammed Atta to do such a heinous thing.
Israel's abuse of the Palestinians has to be dealt with to avoid this happening again. We cannot continue to apply international law selectively and we need to solve the Palestinian problem. Islam has a great cause in Palestine so let's fix it thenwe can really see if Islam is a religion of peace or not
Islamic clothes are now often worn in Indonesia and the 9/11 killers have become heroes in the Muslim world. 9/11 has polarised our world.
The very freedoms that we claim to defend have been taken away by the 9/11 killers.
Please don't tell me that all religious extermeists are the same. Pat Robinson is a wanker but he isn't crashing planes into Mecca.
If 9/11 hadn't happened Da Wizard would not have researched the Middle East so well... I think that means that the terrorist act was a success. If they hadn't committed that awful act then we would not be discussing Palestine today all over the world. How sad to have to admit that terrorism works.

How To Restrain Your Goat

To restrain the goat, hold it by one or a combination of ways as described here. Use one of two methods. One method is to stand in from and place your knees in front of the goat's shoulder . Another method to restrain your goat is to grab a front leg below the knee and raise the leg up toward you while leaving the other on the ground . While restraining your goat, never pick the goat up so that both front feet are off the ground. This does not give you an advantage. It is an example of poor showmanship.

One Year Since Beslan

I just read the BBC article about the terrible trajedy in the school in Baslan when Muslim Militants took over the school and murdered so many. In the article and the news piece that has just played the word Muslim or Islam wasn't used at all? Why is this? I know its a tiny minority of them that are causing us problems but if there was a few more of them at it imagine the chaos then?

Then we watch the chilling video of the London suicide bomber Mohammad Sidique Khan stating how he is defending HIS people and that WE are his targets! He states we are drinking from the glass that Muslims have had to drink for years.... NOW what the fuck is that about? Muslims as far as I am aware are not being blown up by Christian suicide bombers are they? Have they ever been?

People say the Christian extremeists in the U.S. are just as scary and I agree that they are indeed frightening but until they start cutting hands off, raping women and blowing up airplanes and bars I am not too concerned. Sorry Islam!! You win hands down the prize for being the world's current most scary superstition.

The World Now Sees The True U.S. Society For What It Is!!

Signs like "Keep out or Die" on private homes, news stories of no go areas for the National Guard and the mostly poor black population without food and water. On the BBC this morning a black woman screamed that 'they are raping babies in there' referring to armed gangs of looters in the city. This calamity for the wealthiest of nations who claims to be the land of the free I hope is a wake up call for them.

The US has no freedom anymore. The freedom to own a firearm and the desire to do so just shows how scared and not free the US is. Biometric passports and the Patriot act just help the big corporations make more from the masses and do nothing to stop suicide bombers. The very freedoms that you think your children are dying for in Iraq, have already been taken away from you by your own government, so many of them post 9/11.

As an expat I meet many Americans who realise my points above and choose to be perpetual travellers like us. Look to why the world hates the U.S. and change to stop yourselves becoming the next Roman Empire.... and being defeated by men in rags......... or is it already too late???

Should We Nuke Mecca?

Why not bomb Mecca? Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-CO) has brought the issue to the table. The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has demanded that he apologize to Muslims, and commentators left and right have subjected him to vociferous criticism. At the same time, however, he seems to have tapped into the frustration that many Americans feel about official Washington’s politically correct insistence, in the face of ever-mounting evidence to the contrary, that Islam is a religion of peace that has been hijacked by a tiny minority of extremists.

Although Tancredo’s presidential hopes and possibly even his seat in Congress may go up in the mushroom cloud created by the furor over his remarks, the idea of destroying Islamic holy sites in response to a devastating terror attack on American soil is not going to go away – particularly as long as elected officials rush after every Islamic terror attack to repeat the well-worn mantras about how they know that the overwhelming majority of Muslims abhor violence and reject extremism, and are our faithful and reliable allies against terrorism in all its forms.

However, although the resentment Tancredo has tapped is real and has legitimate causes, his suggestion that “among the many things we might do to prevent such an attack on America would be to lay out there as a possibility the destruction” of Islamic holy sites is still wrong — but not generally for the reasons that most analysts have advanced.

Primarily, of course, it contravenes Western principles of justice which, if discarded willy-nilly, would remove a key reason why we fight at all: to preserve Western ideas of justice and human rights that are denied by the Islamic Sharia law so beloved of jihad terrorists. But even aside from moral questions, which are increasingly thorny in this post-Hiroshima, post-Dresden world, there are practical reasons to reject what Tancredo has suggested.

Tancredo’s idea, of course, is based on the old Cold War principle of Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD). Both sides threatened each other with nuclear annihilation, and the threats canceled each other out. The Soviets would no more risk Moscow being wiped out than we would Washington.

But applying this principle to present-day Islamic jihad is not so easy. The Soviets did not inculcate into their cadres the idea enunciated by Maulana Inyadullah of al-Qaeda shortly after 9/11: “The Americans love Pepsi-Cola, we love death.” This lust for death runs through the rhetoric of today’s jihadists, and goes all the way back in Islamic history to the Qur’an, in which Allah instructs Muhammad: “Say (O Muhammad): O ye who are Jews! If ye claim that ye are favoured of Allah apart from (all) mankind, then long for death if ye are truthful” (62:6). Will men who love death, who glorify suicide bombing and praise God for beheadings and massacres, fear the destruction of holy sites? It seems unlikely in the extreme — and that fact nullifies all the value this threat may have had as a deterrent. Nuke Mecca? Why bother? It wouldn’t work.

Others have argued, however, that the deterrent value of destroying Islamic holy sites would lie not in giving jihad terrorists pause, but in showing Islam itself to be false and thus removing the primary motivation of today’s jihad terrorists. If Allah is all-powerful and rewards those who believe in him while hating and punishing the disbelievers (the “vilest of creatures,” according to Qur’an 98:6), wouldn’t he protect his holy sites from these disbelievers?

However, Muslims have weathered such shocks to their system in the past. In 1924, the secular government of Turkey abolished the caliphate; the caliph was considered the successor of the Prophet Muhammad as the religious and political leader of the Islamic community. By abolishing the office, Turkish leader Kemal Ataturk hoped to strike at the heart of political Islam and create a context in which Islam could develop something akin to the Western idea of the separation of religion and state. Instead, his act provided the impetus for the establishment of the Muslim Brotherhood, the first modern Islamic terrorist organization, in Egypt in 1928. The Brotherhood and its offshoots (which include Hamas and Al-Qaeda), and indeed virtually all jihadist groups in the world today, date the misery of the Islamic world to the abolition of the caliphate. The ultimate goal of such groups is the restoration of this office, the reunification of the Islamic world under the caliph, and the establishment of the Sharia as the sole law in Muslim countries. Then the caliph would presumably take up one of his principal duties as stipulated by Islamic law: to wage offensive jihad against non-Muslim states in order to extend Sharia rule to them also.

The abolition of the caliphate, then, accomplished precisely the opposite of what Ataturk hoped it would: it gave the adherents of political Islam a cause around which to rally, recruit, and mobilize. In essence, it gave birth to the crisis that engulfs the world today. It is likely that a destruction of the Ka’aba or the Al-Aqsa Mosque would have the same effect: it would become source of spirit, not of dispirit. The jihadists would have yet another injury to add to their litany of grievances, which up to now have so effectively confused American leftists into thinking that the West is at fault in this present conflict. But the grievances always shift; the only constant is the jihad imperative. Let us not give that imperative even greater energy in the modern world by supplying such pretexts needlessly.

Yesterday Pat Robertson a T.V. Evangelist from the United States called for the assasination of Venezuela President Hugo Chávez. Now what the Donald Duck is all that about?

We got Islamic freaks in their scary clothes yelling Jihad and now we have a T.V. Christian conman crying out for terrorist acts by the U.S. government. In a time when the West needs to be seen as sensible and righteous, a trickster like Robertson should be treated in the same way as a Muslim would for appealing for the death of George Bush. The U.S. public should be demonstrating for his arrest and the Attorney General should be looking at ways to prosecute this lunatic. Sadly I reckon that the great U.S. Public will still probably still sending Robertson dollar$ to buy their little piece of heaven.

I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.

However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the "politically correct" crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others.

I am not against immigration,nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by
coming to Australia.

However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand.

This idea of Australia being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Australians, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle.

This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.

We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part
of our society, Learn the language!

"In God We Trust" is our National Motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, Because God is
part of our culture.

If the Southern Cross offends you, or you don't like " A Fair Go", then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet.

We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from.

This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this.

But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our National Motto, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage

1. Abu Bakar Bashyir, the man who sent the bombers out to kill the innocent tourists was given just 30 months in prison. Our world leaders did nothing to punish Indonesia for having a 100% corrupt legal system.

2. The last Vice President of Indonesia described Bashir as his friend. Our world still treats Indonesian members of government as human beings and our friends. Zimbabwe is a world pariah so why is Indonesia not?

"For good and ill, the Iraqi prisoner abuse mess will remain an issue. On the one hand, right thinking Americans will harbor the stupidity of the actions while on the other hand, political glee will take control and fashion this minor event into some modern day massacre.

I humbly offer my opinion here:

I am sorry that the last seven times we Americans took up arms and sacrificed the blood of our youth, it was in the defense of Muslims (Bosnia, Kosovo, Gulf War 1, Kuwait, etc.).

I am sorry that no such call for an apology upon the extremists came after 9/11.

I am sorry that all of the murderers on 9/11 were Islamic Arabs.

I am sorry that most Arabs and Muslims have to live in squalor under savage dictatorships.

3. Discovering that you will find living in the West impossible after living here. Please note though there are lots of other great non western places to live.

4. The assumptions made by Thais about what you like , think and how you behave based on stereotypes that they base all humans on who are not Thai.

5. Getting arrested on an immigration technicality on a Friday and spending the weekend in Suan Plu nick as no work is done until Monday.

This is blogging live from 11 227m above the sea just now over Malaysia with an hour to go before the decent into Singapore. Just a rare one day turnaround for Da Wizard on a Finn Air flight full to the gills.

Fossil like air crew perform an acceptable job and for six thousand baht its not a bad deal fuck we have turbulence now! Not a lover of tropical storms when in the sky.

Food wasn't bad really with a generous bottle of quaffable white and a superb cold pickled peppered cabbage salad with smoked fish.

Goat situation not so hot with the eye candy only really sweet if you like obese white women in skimpy clothing and the femininity of a greco roman wrestler!

Now why is that women feel that its ok to be unattractive and fat? A field trip to Kao Saan Road in Bangkok will confirm Da Wizard's humble (NOT) opinion that white women are virtually now a third sex and by their shere ginormity are quite repulsive to Da Wizard and any of his associates.

Why is it that I only know one westerner with a white long term partner? Da Wizard arrived with one who was not fat but her abject terror of the Asian Goats soon sent her home?

As relatively successful group of people live here and they are not all sex pests... It seems amazing that only one of us has a white partner....and they live together in Bali!!!!

My Life Affected By Islam Again

Today Islam took away another of my freedoms. Might not seem much to many people nor indeed do I consider the move by the Thai government to be wrong but an erosion of my freedom it is. Upon leaving Bangkok today I was digitally photographed by immigration along with all the other foreigners and tonight upon my return I shall be photographed again.

Now Da Wizard approves of improved security and hey we are all just gonna have to live with it anyhow but guess what? We must remove our hats and sunglasses but the superstitious believers in their terrifying middle ages clothing don't have to open their headress?????

Why are we throughout the world pandering to these peculiar people who choose to wear such scary clothes??? If I wore a ski mask in a departure terminal then I would be asked to remove it. I do not believe in a super being that will smite me without it being proven to me scientifically, so clearly I am less scary in a ski mask than these freaks.

I don't by the way wish to wear a ski mask in a departure lounge but I don't think that in today's dangerous climate that Muslin's should be able to have the freedoms to wear their scary head gear. After all if the majority doesn't support terrorism at least tacitly then why don't millions take to the streets and destroy the offices of the extremeists??

Similar behavior to that, that they showed when there was an alledged desecration of a copy of the Koran, against this alledged small minority that have offices throughout the world would put the non superstitious, non wearers of scary clothes at ease.

A true protest by millions of Muslims would send a clear message to commentators like Da Wizard that he should shut up and start talking more about all the great things that happen in his life.

Sorry people but there is no humour on this blog right now.We are being attacked by Islam all over the world and I can't shut my mouth. I just watched Hard Talk again on the BBC tonight and Da Wizard believes that he saw the first British Black Prime Minister interviewed.....David Lammy.

This guy was brilliant....he pointed out that blacks have had HUGE (and still do) problems but they weren't blowing themsleves up etc etc....

He is a brilliant orator and I am proud to have him serving in my Parliament. If more people from ethnic minorities were like him and didn't try and sell hate then maybe England would be a better place.

Just watched BBC Hard Talk with a Muslim leader from England called Anjem Choudary. I need to sleep on it but I can't believe how much they hate us and how scary they are. Don't anyone leave a pro Muslim opinion on my site right now 'cos my fear of them is only equal but not greater than their hatred of our way of life. Can't stop thinking about the bombers

As its my blog I believe that I can pretty much do what I want and posting a pic from Camelot (Go-go Bar in Patpong) whilst remonstrating about the Paki Bombers in England is my right.

It really pisses me off when the Lord Mayor of London said that he wanted everyone who is holding religious services to make sure that they preached moderation and not extremism. I am sorry but why was that EXCLUSIVELY not delivered to the Muslims? We don't have a problem with Christian, Hindu or Jewish suicide bombers do we?

The headline in the Sun said 'the face of the Brit Bomber' showing the face of one of the 7th July bombers. Why did it not say 'face of the Paki Brit Bomber' or just the 'Paki Bomber'??? Clearly he considered himself in life more a Paki than Brit so why should we honour him in death as one of our own? To call someone (or indeed to write it here) a Paki is a criminal offence in the U.K. but to call someone a Brit is ok? I think they are both shortened versions of the country of origin! Are we as a society missing something here??? I think so!

Lets stop talking about the right to freedom of religion....lets talk about the right to travel on a train without fearing for your life. Surely that is the FIRST right we have to secure. After we have done that lets worry about having to secure rights for people to be religious. Religion is nothing but a Superstition used to control the masses and giving it so much credence when it is so so so very irrelavant in todays times is ridiculous.

Well it turns out it's another Buddha day tomorrow so the Kingdom of Thailand is closed again and of course we can't buy alcohol. No big deal really for me it just means that I gotta go flop around by the pool tomorrow and hopefully get some Goating done in the afternoon. We all gotta do beer runs tonite though. These Big Brother rules just mean that we overspend and buy HEAPS of booze that we ordinarily would not consume eachtime there is a drought declared by the Gestapo.

The funny thing is though that for sure we will be able to find a watering hole tomorrow that is open and thousands of people will be consuming ANYWAY. When will they just leave us alone to spend our money and keep people in jobs???????

Also heard and read today on Metroblogging that P.M. Thaksin (Toxin as he is know to the expats) and his all powerful company Shin Corp. has been trying to slow down the development of the B.T.S. Skytrain development as it is owned by the Democrats.
Further to this Shin Corp. is now buying all the debts of the B.T.S. so will now be able to force the B.T.S to concur with what ever his meglomaniacal current desires are now. Scary all this power being thrown to so few these days huh????

So anyway we are gonna hit the town tonite and see what pics can be got. Should be a good night tonite as all the goats don't have to get up in the morning for work.

As good a place as any for you to start this area around soi 4 , Sukhumvit (Soi Nana) consists of bars and hotel lobbies that just teem with both freelance and working girls. You pay a bar fine (2-500bht) to the owner of the bar to take his staff from the premises and what you arrange between her is up to you. 1000-2000bht is the most you should be paying at this time (25-50$US). Do not under any circumstances go to a bar called Josephines on Soi 1. It is rumoured to be washing dirty Algerian money, is always getting raided by the Police for drugs, and too many people have told me how sick they have been after drinking there for it to be a coincedence. Bars of note include Jools Bar Soi4 for great English food, The Bus Stop for great ambience and girls and Morning and Night Bar for terrible music, English thugs and a great posse of Goats.

3.Soi Cowboy (BTS Station Asok)

Expat food in abundance and loads of Goats. Comes alive at night and consists of one main strip between Soi 21 and Soi 23.

As you can see from this picture Cowboy consists of a Garish strip that is full of bars which are full of goats. Prices same as I mentioned before.... Great Dutch food on the corner of Soi 23 at a place called the Old Dutch.

The strips are as safe as safe can be and its amazing that there is so much alcohol and so much nitelife around and yet so little violence.
Everynight is Saturday night here and believe it or not many people actually find there future wives and girlfriends here.

4.Patpong (BTS Station Sala Daeng)

Where it all began and Da Wizard's personal favourite. Silom Road has great bars and restaraunts and Soi Patpong is between Soi 4 and Soi 6. Its a couple of streets containing a night market and full to the brim with Go Go Bars. High energy music is what is played and it seems very intimidating. Its safe and the stories of drink rip offs etc are now nothing more than Urban Myths. Drinks are slightly higher than at Cowboy or Nana but this is the pulse of the Bangkok Tourist sex scene.

Patpong is now developing into a more sopisticated night out with four live music venues which contain a mixture of people, freelance Goats and straight girls can also be found. Da Wizard and Homer find it to be the most conveniant and easy instant party zone.

Patpong also has a few dingy soapy massage places where 1600-2200bht will get you the famous Thai Soapey experience. These massage places will also cater to couples I am told. If you are really serious about a soapey though the place to go is.............

5.Ratchadapisek Road (MRT Station Huay Kwang)

Now this is where it is at for the real meal deal. Lots of giant Entertainment complexes, sex for sale in opulent surroundings. This is not geared for the tourist although the tourist will be welcomed and people speak English. This is how the Asian men enjoy their extramarital affairs.

Plush and Glitzy almost casino like venues welcome you and in may places you can pick your girls from the Playboy or Penthouse Magazine that they have on the tables.

Yes you can nail a Penthouse Pet here for about 100$US but you don't need to spend that much if you don't wish to. Lots of Silicon tits here boys and Grandad reckons that they are more appreciative and give better service when they are not of movie star ilk. Da Wizard can't comment cos for 100$ I would rather pull myself and look at goat pics. The best places include Emmanuelle, Poseidon and Caesars. Drinks etc are no more expensive than Silom here but the quality of the girls is higher. Ratchada Soi 4 is currently the hottest night out for locals and whitey is welcomed with open arms (and legs) in all places. Here you can drink until dawn and avoid the Draconian laws that now close most Bangkok Nite Spots at 1am.

I keep getting asked to write about it and its a tough one for me. Da Wizard likes to tell it how it is but we gotta also be aware that there are some rather nasty laws about people who offend Thai culture and we don't want the Gestapo kicking the door down and giving Da Wizard a frontal lobotomy do we? I have thought about this piece for a long time...its a tough one so I reckon a check list is about the best way I can get it over. If you are offended....sorry go read the bible!!!

Facts About Sex In Thailand

1. Prostitution is a worldwide phenomenon. Thailand's has less prostitutes per capita than Indonesia and many other countries. There is a lot more here than whores....

2. Most Thai girls are not prostitutes. Getting a real Thai girls is not difficult at all. If you visit here don't make the mistake of thinking that you can only get sex workers to sleep with you. I don't care how you look! Age doesn't matter!

3. A sex worker is regarded as lowly a station as anywhere else in the world but Thai society is more broad minded than the the West and women here see their role as women not as competitors to men.

4. I have never come across under age sex workers in Thailand but have seen them regularly in Indonesia.

Another Weekend Survived

Well we made it again. Always happy to get through to a Monday unscathed. Taking
chances and making bad decisions are something that we all do a little too often living here.
This snap was taken whilst zooming through Bangkok's infamous traffic on the back of a motorbike taxi. The mobile blogging thing isn't really working at the moment which is down to the mobile phone operator who's multimedia messaging isnt perfect as yet.

Saturday night was a full house at Lucifer's in Patpong after a great session in a new
Bar called 'Funky Dojo' which as great goats, superbly stocked bar and the best
sounds for a bar in Silom. Lets hope that the other bars follow suit and change
with the times.Decided to do something which is not really recommended and take a couple of snaps inside a go go bar. This bar is called Camelot on Patpong 1 and is in Da Wizard's and Homer's opinion got the nicest goats in Silom. Drinks are fairly priced and the music is good.
The current rate for paying a goat is 1000-2000bht whatever the 'time' short or long....if you pay more than that then you are not very clever and will not be respected by the goat either who will see you as a goon.

Thoughts on Terror

I thought that I should pause to contemplate my thoughts on the attackso n England by Islam last week. The obvious 'tiny evil minority' pitches have been made by the politicians and I think that as its my website I should make my position on Islam as a whole clearly to the readers.... so sit back and absorb my thoughts......

Bombs , draconian governments , blood and horror. Many people
would say that these are the gifts of Islam to the West and I too have felt that. However Islam was something I had never even thought of when I first went to live in Indonesia. Why would I? It's a group that don't eat pork and Da Wizard is often known as Bacon so it wasn't a group that I really felt any affiliation to but neither animosity.

Difference is what makes our world so colourful and hey I was off on my travels so colourful new cultures were part of what I wanted to explore as I was damned sick of my environment of birth.
The
Indonesia that I arrived in was a prosperous booming young place , a place of huge contrasts.... a world in one Nation is how they described it and I found the kaleidoscopic fabric of the place addictive. The poverty and wealth extremes didn't shock me and the poor people seemed a lot happier than the average person back in Europe. The climate and lack of material longing was my brief explanation on the reasons for that.

Then Suharto was deposed and it all changed.

Thousands of Chinese girls were raped by Muslim gangs across Java I remember the stories terrifying me. Mobs screaming "Allah Akbar"
dragging girls into the streets to be violated by many then left for dead. I
couldn't believe that these things were happening throughout this country that I had become so enamoured with.

Mob rapes occur throughout history but normally they occur during wars and I had not heard of or even thought about rape in the name of
religion???? I thought that all religions were peaceful.

So with the aid of the new 1998 Internet I started to research rape and religion. Disturbing stories around the world sprouted up all over the place. 60% of all rapists in Norway were Muslim but Muslim men only make up 4% of the population? Is Islam more prone to produce rapists than other religions? I don't have the space to cover the whole issue here but have a little Google around and you will find the facts (but hell you will find some junk too).

I started to ask my Indonesian girlfriends about rape and whether it was a commonplace in Indonesia. I was startled to discover that it was VERY VERY common. Then when I watched the Indonesian men and listened to their banter and wolf whistles I realised that although Islam does not teach nor condone rape it does
proliferate sexual immaturity which surely given the correct catalyst can be a pre cursor to rape? Da Wizard is a but an armchair commentator but again Google
around people!.... The truth is around you.

Then Sept 11th came and I cried when I listened to the heart wrenching phone calls that
were left as people said good bye to their loved ones, knowing that they would not survive. I couldn't believe it again.... how could somebody go out and commit such a heinous crime and kill themselves in the process. This was something again out of my brains ability to comprehend. So I looked around for answers and this is what I found.

1. Clearly Islam as practiced in Islamic countries is oppressive. Islam is allowed to flourish in any Christian country but crushes or at best makes life difficult for other religions in an Islamic country.

2. Islam believes in the Islamification of the world. Islam means 'to submit' . This is different from Christianity which wishes to Evangelise the world. Both are not good goals in my opinion but clearly I do not wish to 'submit'. There should be no Islamification in western countries. Wearing scary veils should no more be allowed than it is for me to wear a balaclava in public.

3.Palestine is the gaping wound of Islam... one that can be a justifiable rallying call and this problem must be solved. Zionism plays far to much of an important role in the world and our hypocrisy in choosing which countries we force to comply to UN resolutions is the cause of much of this worldwide terror. Solve Palestine and we will then be able to see if Islam really is a religion of peace.

4. Debate should be encouraged on the whole issue of religion. Lets have some scientific debate please on these superstitions. Lets stop politicians saying "God Bless America" and the like. If a national leader said "May the Force be with you" people would ridicule him. What's the difference? Lets keep religion out of politics.

Then came the Bali bomb. We escaped it as we left 9 months earlier to live in Thailand as we overheard Muslim extremists in Paddy's Bar talking about how immoral the people were. The Bali bomb was predicted by us and many more. Why did the Western governments not tell their people? Its highly likely to happen again.

The disgraceful way that Amrozi was allowed to behave in court shows how the Indonesians viewed the loss of life.

So now we have had terror visit the shores of the United Kingdom. Da Wizard thought that the emergency services did a sterling job and its amazing how few people actually
lost their lives. I am sure that is cold comfort to the families who lost their loved ones.

After the obvious calls for calm by politicians and some great words from 'Red' Ken Livingston we are now seeing the reality that exists in Britain and other Western countries. The BBC met up with some Muslim lads with their Northern English accents and asked them their views on the bombings. The lads answered in no uncertain terms that they denounced the bombs 100%. They then said that they think it is wrong when 'these English go into our Muslim brothers countries and murder our Muslim brothers and sisters'.

Now the reporter backed off immediately and didn't ask the question.... What do you mean by 'these English'????? and 'our Muslim brothers and sisters'??? These lads were showing clearly here that they Muslim first and do not themselves at heart consider themselves British. So here we see that the normal average Muslim youth feels alienated and not part of the Western system. The terribly extreme British National Party made this point:

" More than a tiny minority of young British Muslims support the extremist Hizb-ut-Tahrir party. Its ability to pack 7,000 of them into a conference in the Birmingham NEC last year would equate to nearly 200,000 young whites attending a KKK rally at Knebworth!"

Lets not let the extremeists on either side win. Simple minds can fall into the hands of the likes of the BNP and the situation will never improve if that happens.

What's the answer? The answer is clearly lets fix the causes of those feelings. Lets solve the problem in Palestine. It can be solved however the world must stand strong in its resolve supporting the UN and forcing those who don't comply with UN Resolutions to be punished equally. Always cowing to Israel's political might in the US is threatening the lives of each and every westerner. Solve that problem and we have a chance. Militarily we can not beat this enemy.
Alternatively those people who wield the extremists axe will cleverly win over the masses on either side as our freedoms are eroded by governments and then the very freedoms that we are trying to defend will be lost forever.

London just got given the Olympic games for 2012...hope the world is still functioning by then.
Just sitting here down in Patpong watching all da goats go to work. Again we wonder are we the exploited or the exploiters? Can't be fucked going into the pros and cons of it as in reality its probably a bit of both. Not much is black and white here in SE Asia so it would be hard to feel strong about it either way really.

Good news about Blighty getting the games though....should put a few quid in the war coffers so we can bash whoever we are rowing with at that time whatever happens. It will also probably set us up to be more of a target for the men in rags though but hey if they could get us now they would anyway.

Talk of the town here in Thailand currently is the pm's desire to close everywhere down on Mondays so as to save energy cos of the high oil price. My god....basic choices are being taken away from us all right now with not a hint of shame.

Pretty incredible really in a country that relies so heavily on tourism. Still ours is not to reason why and anyway people power and the great corruption will mean that we shall continue to wet our beaks come what may.

Note: Ralph is having a down the the throat cam done as I write this. She has a possible peptic ulcer. Sitting here outside the operating room waiting for her is pretty traumatic as I am sitting right by the ICU which means I am surrounded by distraught and weeping relatives whose energy is rubbing off and not making me feel great.

It makes my mind wander....what if the doc came out and said 'I am sorry but there was a complication...she didn't make it'..how would I deal with that? Would I just go pay the bill and go and get drunk or what? Where would I bury her? What would i do if her folks wanted her back home?

Awful thoughts but things we should speak about later for sure. I don't like hospitals but I don't really think anyone does and if they do they are fucking weird.

I dislike being reminded so harshly about our mortality. Inevitable is not a word that sits well with me....we make our own luck...don't we?

Just being here gives me internal aches and pains. Intense paranoia and that repulsive hospital smell make me want to make a mad dash for it and get back to my safe world of fun and frolics combined with sufficient commerce to keep my sanity.

They just wheeled out a squawking bundle from the op room....pat the weeping family....cliche thoughts of one life ending as another begins as the wheel keeps turning flash through my mind....but its all fucked really isn't it?
God its now been an hour and half since Ralph went in for a supposed 10 minute procedure....No one here to ask either.

Oh ya we are in The Bangkok Christian Hospits in Silom...its close to home, cheap and seems fine. Its a bit ragged around the edges but no worse than a UK hospital and certainly like a five star place when compared to the hospitals in Bali.

The lady sitting next to me who looked like she wanted to chat just got wheeled off. I thought that she was a spectator like me not a victim. She left giving me a wavelike we knew eash other. An Asian woman alone in hospital is truelly alone. There is always a gaggle of friends and family around....A Thai Eleanor Rigby.....at least I waved back at her. I considered the double wave but thought that was a bit informal but maybeit would have made her day?

A man of African origin just got let oput of a side doorand now is noisily hawking up nearby...euch.
The Food Walla is wheeling past me now....christ I feel like part of the furniture here already. I wonder will they offer me a bite to eat....where is Ralph?
Ah she just walked past me...said 'Hi' then disappeared...didn't stop the selfish bitch...well at least she's not dead....would be a helluva waste of six years training if they killed her......

All done...results Monday....they took a biopsy..... :(

Road Blocks Checking Us Out

Homer just called to remind me that its illegal here in Thailand for us not to carry our passports and that the Gestapo were stopping whitey in Sathorn checking people's paperwork.

Its also been announced that television is going to be stopped in Thailand after 12 midnite because of the high fuel charges. Now its not clear if this will affect the international channels but its yet another control that the authorities are planting on the heads of the populace.

I don't find the new laws etc as bothersome as many of my friends do but Nationalism is always a bit scary for me. Thai Rak Thai is the name of the controlling party which means 'Thais love Thais".... imagine in Enagland having the 'English love English Party'.... Xenophobic at best and would probably be illegal.

Anyway the blog musings haven't been coming recently but they do come and go. Busniness is going well thank god....keep worrying that something is gonna go wrong....

Wow what a weekend

Bangkok boomed....and we got caught up the whirlwind....Friday night Patpong....Muzzic Cafe both 1 and 2 then Lucifer then back to Homers for some after party.....

Da Old Bill were out piss testing again....34 different venues done over the weekend.... we missed them all thank god but I guess our day will come. Ralph's boss was held until 5am whilst he waiting for his humiliation of course negative but the two hours queuing is a Royal Pain the arse.

Saturday was a bit of a blur with the Friday Party carrying on through...goats were present of course although only Homer rutted.... Da Wizard was content with twitching and slobbering on the couch.

Saturday night unrousable at the Night Bazarr then home for Da Wizard.... Homer ventured out agin and took the plunge.... Patpong then off to Ratchada until 6.30am (avoided the Gestapo) the back home with two straight goats and a very drunk Chinaman?????????

No need to question Homer's sexuality nor apparantly the Chinaman's but they all crashed at Homers... Da Wizard woke up early feeling great.... went for lunch then got blown by a girl who works at the US Embassy..... dinner at Emporium... Piri Piri chicken just rocks....

Then back to the Pong.... Ralph was on a mission.... Homer burnt out.... Da Wizard went home then came out again.... same ole same ole... Bangkok is rockin right now.....

Why the fuck do any of you live anywhere else????????

Bangkok Markets Buying Fruit and Vegatables

Ralph was roughley kicked out of bed this morning and the pair of us strolled over to the local market at 7.00am to score a big bag of veggies and fruit as we are now making 2litres of juice eachday so that we get our required 9 portions that we require to maintain our health through this rollercoaster lifestyle that we enjoy and endure.

In the collage above you can see monks collecting alms (note how Da Wizard plays with Photoshop) , flower sellers....an acceptable Goat buying Pork and in the middle of it a Mosque standing peacefully amongst the Buddhists enjoying their lives....lets hope it stays like that.

Watched Opra this morning....the horde of women on the audience whooped for joy when a woman was seen to be dating a guy 30 years her junior....why do they call men who do that predators but yet laude women??????? Hey what the hell is Da Wizard doing watchin' Opra anyway....best get back out and goatin'!!!!!.

Paul Oakenfold is playing at Narcissus thie weekend....won't be able to get pics as the security are onto us but its gotta be worth a look. If we go it will be our third year of watchin Oakey....we boxed last year lets avoid that this year eh?????

Da Katoi -Transexuals in Thailand and FRS

2 days ago Da Wizard thought that buying two FRS (Family Radio Service) walkie talkies might be a good idea to communicate with Homer seeing as the fone system here now in TLand is just atrocious currently and also it would save us both some money as we constantly call each other with quibbles and queries.

So I grabbed Ralph and we trekked over to MBK where Da Wizard had seen such radio available for about 70$. We went to the first stall that we found which was being tended by a Katoi (a bloke who wants to be a girl/transexual/ladyboy or whatever). Now this Katoi was quite cute and good at the sales blurb too howver she forgot the ultimate sale rule that God gave us two ears and one mouth for good reason. This KT just bulldozed me and before I knew where I was I had this lovely cute pair of radio alledgedly made by Motorola. The KT claimed that they worked over 3km so they were certainly strong enough but unfortunately the instructions were in Chinese so not really of much use to Da Wizard who is not that knowledgable in Chink.

When I explained that my Chinese language skills were less than non existant the KT just carried on trying to show me how these James Bond radios worked...up until it was pointed out to our gender challenged friend that NO English meant No Sale.

At this point the sexually mutated excuse for a human being decided to hurl abuse at me. Da Wizard wasn't aware that not speaking Chinese was immorral in Thailand and could deserve such a tirade from this hormone injected freak so with a loud "FUCK YOU" the wizard decided to go spend his hard earned fun tickets elsewhere.

Now this kind of emotional instabilty is a common thing with the Katoi.... they say they give the best head and hey I have no reason to doubt that! But having to deal with a confused man who is filled with female hormones and can squirt milk out of their false tits (yes they can!!!) on a daily basis must be awful.

So Da Advise for today is ya when in Rome fuck the Romans but don't shack up with a surgically created modern day beautiful Frankenstein.
